I honestly feel like Im tired of complaining and I feel bad about not having said a positive word about any game for quite some time (any new game, that is) now, so I apologize. Im just going to leave this here-

10 minutes gameplay, I saw a lot of things I didnt like.

I'm interested in this, I played the old PC title (which was really good). I'm hoping it's good because I am a big fan of the series on PC as well as both movie franchises (well the first few alien films and the first predator film in any case). The gameplay vids are a bit hit and miss, but I guess like most FPS titles you can only get a fair impression when you get to try it. I believe a demo is coming for both the 360 and PS3 in the next few weeks, so I'll know then.

Now this is a game everyone should be really looking forward to. Buying it as soon as it comes out or maybe asking the Merchant(from R.E.4) for a demo.

I did. Its searching for a game, for the past 10 minutes now. What a waste.

I'm a huge fan of the predator and Alien(s) movies, so I'm getting this for sure. I'm also digging what sounds like Bishop's voice work. Apparently there will be customizable skins instead of upgradable weapons, armor etc. At least I can tune my own personal predator lol. I really want the Hunter or Survivor edition so I can get the map packs, but I can only afford the standard game. I hate that all the games I've been looking forward to are coming out within the next two months...GOW3, RE5:GE, Heavy Rain, AVP, MMA games, etc.

So, after 1 minute of total gameplay (which followed about 13 minutes of total waiting for a game, because matchmaking rules), my impression was-

"Oh God, what an awful port."

I don't get why they released a deathmatch demo. Team deathmatch would have been so much better. I've played a few rounds with marines teaming up, and it's infinitly better.

And yeah, the matchmaking is borked on PC at least.

I got the demo this morning on my 360 and it's pretty fun, I played with some mates but for some odd reason we had to leave 1 space free so we could play so that means we had to play with 1 random person.

I don't want to play it too much because I have had a nasty habit of overkilling demo's in the past. Plus I think the online game will only really shine in it's Team Deathmatch, Infestation and Survivor modes.

Another yawnsome multiplayer demo, but with a twist...it's fucking terrible! For one, too dark. Two, the audio is horrific. Three, seemingly super strength aliens littering the levels making it really hard to get a good run going.

February 4th, and we have a strong runner for worst game of the year.
