    • Final Fantasy XIII still looks like ass, Final Fantasy XIV looks kinda nice (with the exception of the shitty flying towers)

And here comes the Sony dildo...

      • So "RAPTURE" the mmo is F14, so the sequel to 11. I wish them luck.

        • This is no Milo Molyneux...but it's still pretty cool-looking. That's some spot-on 1-1 calibration.

I've actually seen a tech demo of this shit on YouTube before.

          • So this is basically Natal combined with Wii Motion Plus.

            How original.

            • Wow. This is like...the Wii on steroids.

It's the PSP, not the Wii, not the DS, not even the PS2 or 360. Unlike the others, the PSP is not a money-printing machine, and it never will be. I doubt the Go will change that.

$ they may get, but they would've gotten more just about anywhere else. So, again, their logic fails me.

EDIT: That came off a little harsh; let me just iterate this: I would be interested in the PSP if Resident Evil was well-done on the portable. Meaning this Resident Evil better be damn good; otherwise, I see no point purchasing anything just to play it.

He's talking about Capcom, not Sony. It's quite common for them to rehash their old games for $$$$. And Sony are a business anyway. All businesses are out for $$$$ and that's it.

                    • This is pretty much the Electronic Arts Harry Potter EyeToy "wands" from 2004(?) with a the Wii remote's motion sensors put into the wand...

Motion+ is pretty much on the same level. Sans the "rod" Natal is a step further (as you could easily integrate similar features in Natal, although not really necessary, as you can pretty much assign any object to be the object for tracking in it. Seems like hardware is built out of a depth/distance sensor, some funky microphone technology and the camera + a processor of sorts.)

Capcom's investing in Sony by putting their game on a platform that is most certainly not one of the best sellers. I'm saying that they're basically losing money by putting their game on the PSP, and that the game will very likely underperform. Again, I just don't believe it's really the smartest idea for making money.

                        • I don't either, but hey, it's up to Capcom. I'm just sick of all this motion sensing stuff now. Natal is interesting but call me old skool, I just enjoy my original controller. I don't like jumping about or waving my arms around to play a game, I like to sit down.

I don't like waving my arms around either; other than Wii Sports, there aren't any games where I enjoy it. People don't seem to realize that motion control does not dictate flailing about like an idiot. I prefer the subtle approaches of the Chronicles games, Shattered Memories, and Metroid; that's how you utilize motion control in a simple, but effective way. I wish more developers approached it that way.

                            • How could they show so many games and yet only a couple actually interested me? It's the Microsoft press conference all over again.
