Still don't care for Left4Dead and Modern Warfare 2, but some of the other stuff blew me out of the water.
I got home to the middle of it all and was like
To me, it feels like MS more or less did what Nintendo did with the Wii reveal...
Good to be a gamer.
Natal looks pretty hot from a technical standpoint. PS2's EyeToy was a good proof-of-concept as far as taking that concept out of science labs and arcades (and bringing it home in an affordable way) goes.
The dashboard functionality is enough for me to want one.
Seeing the movie marketplace expand (to now include more European countries and stuff) is a pretty hot and awesome feature. It'll make me go broke, for sure :p
Facebook and twitter integration looks pretty hot too. I kinda hate the ideas of crossing the borders between my gaming habits, my personal life and all that stuff... but damn... they just nailed it as far as social networking goes (top that with the dashboard level movie sharing/watching system they showed off, compared to PS3's dependency on home for the same thing and such... MS brought out the big guns this time :p)
Exciting times we're living in... it truly is!
