Most Anticipated New Titles?

Well, out of all the new games showcased at E3 this year, what ones are you looking forward to the most and why? And what game do you think had the best trailer overall and what was the coolest thing you saw this year. And was anyone disappointed with E3 this year?

I think the best trailer had to be Star Wars: The Old Republic. Because of the sheer epicness of the fight scene and the lead up to it in that trailer, not to mention the great voice over work. I've watched that trailer so many times and i never get bored of it.

And that is probably my most anticipated game as well, Ill list the rest in a moment.

So what are your top ten most anticipated games of this years E3?

All of these games have me excited for different reasons. The new Uncharted 2 trailer looks fucking incredible and the game is gonna compete with Modern Warfare 2 and others for Game of The Year honors. Elena and Sully are back, Drake is bad-ass as ever, and Chloe Frazer looks like yet another awesome character.

Ah yes, Modern Warfare 2...I don't know what else to say here. The game looks amazing. If it's half as fun as COD4 and gives me HALF the amount of playing time that MW1 did, I'll be playing it a fuckload.

Peace Walker. Yes, I am excited for a PSP game. Why? The trailer looks like a fuckin' Metal Gear game...not like MPO. I'm really eager to see what's going on with Big Boss in 1974 and just what transpired in South America, leading up to the inception of Outer Heaven.

God of War III -- 'nuff said. That gameplay demo was off the fucking wall.

Darkside Chronicles...I was hesitant to put this so high on the list. I mean, it's an on-rails shooter, and they haven't even shown Chris or Wesker yet. But...it's still Resident Evil, and I'm still excited for it. Now, all I need is a Wii.

FFXIII. Don't ask me why, but I have faith in Squeenix to deliver their first great RPG since FFX.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising. If more isn't shown of this tomorrow at Konami's conference, then I don't expect to see anything until TGS. Such has been the trend for Kojima -- announce big games at E3, show big games at TGS. I'm just praying that this game is a prequel. Why the fuck would Raiden be all ninjafied after MGS4?!

Left 4 Dead 2. Another hesitation. I love L4D, though...so I can't help but look forward to the sequel. Three black main characters? KUDOS, VALVE! (Isn't that what they wanted?)

Resident Evil PSP. I dunno what it is yet and I don't care -- ever since I played Silent Hill Origins on PSP a year or so ago, I've been craving a RE PSP game...and Capcom is delivering. A classic RE experience is EXTREMELY possible on the PSP and I can't wait to see what the game looks like.

The Last Guardian...looks like it will be absolutely mindblowing. While I think Shadow of The Colossus is overrated, I did enjoy the hell out of that game, so I can't wait to see more from its 'spiritual successor' that seems to also be inspired by NEVERENDING STORY.

Modern Warfare 2 - Already discussed. Im looking forward to the most polished and balanced multiplayer experience and hoping that the speculation on MW entering BF turf are correct. Next to STALKER games, my most anticipated title of the year.

AVP3 - Its a failburger at this stage, I just want to see how much worse can it get.

MGS: R - Another MGS title, anticipation selfexplanatory

MGS: PW - Same as above, although I have severe doubts on the Sci-Fi looking Metal Gear. Peacewalker has a nice ring in Russian, "Mirohod".

Gran Turismo 5 - Always been a zealous fan of GT series. I rank GT series, Colin McRae Rally 2 and WRC2: Extreme as the best car racing games ever made. GT5 promises to deliver uncompromised GT goodness.

Crysis 2 - I liked Crysis, and its mods made the gameplay experience exceptional. The only true sandbox approach to date, where for the first 1/2 of the game you truly could do something. The anticipation is shadowed by the fact that they will probably blow the VTOL and helicopter aspect, once again. Nowaday all-aspect games really blow it when it comes to unlimited potential that sci-fi genre offers.

Wolfenstein - from what Ive seen, offers at least as much paranormal and mystic fun as RTCW. Enemy AI seemed to be at least a little competent than general norm.

Mass Effect 2 - First ME was the first RPG that I actually liked, and loved. Properly utilized Sci-Fi potential, every concept polished to mirror shine and detailed as youd never expect them to. ME2 promises to deliver similar goodness. Looking forward to the space battles and I hope its going to be command and order driven and not direct "spaceflier sim".

MAG - The only game out of the whole list thats pushing the envelope. Im looking forward to see how it pans out.

Other - STALKER games, any news on STALKER games.

Dark Side Chronicles is my main treat for this year though. Next year, it's all about ME2. Amazing game, the first one was amazing and it's a brilliant series. Love the games, love the books, love everything about them.

I know this is an RE site, but I cannot comprehend how people are excited for DSC over amazing games like Uncharted or MW2. It just makes no sense whatsoever.

Because I'm a huge Ashford fangirl and this is the only new content we've had for them in years and likely will be the only one we'll ever get. To see Alexia with a new VA and updated graphics is an amazing experience for me and all Ashford fans even in itself. Besides, I love CVX and RE2, so I'm definitely going to enjoy it and I'm not a COD fan. COD4: Modern Warfare was okay, but I didn't really play it all that much. It didn't keep me interested.

Mass Effect 2 though... I absolutely can't wait. The amount of hours I've spent on that game. The ending still manages to give me goosebumps despite completing it several times.

The only thing I could hope for now is an Eternal Darkness 2, perhaps utilizing the WiiMote and Wii Vitality Sensor.
