I was talking about the shooting gameplay, ie. usually take cover - shoot - take cover - shoot, because that what I saw most of the times when watching videos from the game.

But it seems I'm wrong so I will now just shut up.

The shooting is, somewhat similar in controls, but that's about it really. A lot of games use a system like that though, And Uncharted is not focused on the shooting, that's a side part in the game.

I never did find Lara "hot". Never. I mean look at her! That thing barely passes for a human being. Not to mention the fact that she is, all in all, a shitty character (now even more shitty with her Americanization and loss of her quirky, playful attitude).

Aya Brea is still better.

I agree with everyone here. Uncharted is mainly about platforming and not shooting really. Uncharted has a really good story-line with some surprises along the way. Gears of war as intense violence and a shit-load of gore with a pretty good story to back it up. Its not really a fair fight to compare these two games.
