  • Scribblenauts for DS - write anything, summon anything.

The premise: a 2D puzzler/side scroller where your objective is to complete the missions to collect the starite in a level.

You do not have any weapon nor power. You can, however, summon any object to help you reach for the starite. ANY object.

Need to climb onto the tree to reach for the starite? Write "ladder" and you can climb it for the starite. If not, write an axe or a chainsaw to cut the tree so the starite will fall to the ground for you to procure. Heck, you can even summon a fire torch to burn the tree down. You can spawn ANY object which helps you to reach your goal. These objects will even interact with each other.

Spawning "god" and "kraken" and you'll get an interesting fight. Try pitting "god" and "zombie" and you'll see the zombie turning god into zombie god. How does "pirate" and "ninja" sounds? Yes, that's possible too.

200 levels in all, ranging from simple "getting the starite" mission to platformer level with traps like spikes and all for the hardcore and casual gamers.

    Here's the catch though:
no adjective, and no copyrighted names for obvious reason. No E-E10 rated words (in other words, No Vulgar/Offensive/Lewd/Drug/Alcohol related words).

    Here's the compensation:
internet memes (longcat, LOLWUT etc), mythical creatures and famous names like Einstein are included too, though don't expect everything in those area.

Doesn't sound appealing enough? Watch the trailer and read this post.

Remember when it was announced, I was very skeptical. Looks to be a very ambitious project and I am extremely impressed with how it's coming along. It's pre-ordered and paid off for me already. =D
