April Ryan (the Longest Journey) - One of the best Female Characters. Had amazing dialogue.

Lara Croft (Tomb Raider) - My First ever 3-d game. Got me into gaming.

Fiona Belli (Haunting Ground) - She has such amazing eyes. Her mo-cap, voice acting, and facial expressions are still some of the best I've seen.

Claire Redfield (RE 2) - She's always my RE character of choice. My personal favorite out of the entire cast. I just love her character.

Dante (Devil May Cry) - I just love his cockiness. That usually annoys me with characters, but his cheesiness makes me laugh.

Solid Snake (Metal Gear Series) - He's my favorite mans man character.

Miku Hinasaki (Fatal Frame 1) - She starred in the scariest game ever made. I give her mad props for being able to go through it without dying of a heart attack.

Heather Morris (Silent Hill 3) - Out of all the Silent Hill characters, she felt the most believable to me. She looked like a normal person, and I like that.

Lady (DMC 3) - Well she is a badass lady lol.

Shorty (Bust a Groove) - A 12 year old who kicks some ass at dancing.

-Caude's probably the best sandbox game character, ever. Nothing you do with this man makes him different from how he acts during cutscenes. There's just no barrier separating this silent protagonist from the way he acts during scripted scenes and the way he is when you're in control of his actions.

The Boss (Saints Row 2)

-There's no hiding that this man is some sort of sociopath. People tend to talk about colorful characters and stuff... well... with near infinite combinations of appearance modifiers, clothing choices, tattoos, walking patterns and fighting styles combined with a total of 6 different voice actors... "The Boss" is a pretty amazing character.

Point Man and Michael Becket (F.E.A.R. and F.E.A.R. 2)

-As far as story goes, both of these guys are pretty "meh". But, damn, they are probably the most awesome pair of FPS characters, ever. While most FPS characters are limited to: Walk/Run, Aim/Shoot and possibly some sort of melee attack, these guys almost handle like some sort of 3rd person action heroes. Things you'll find this couple of ass-kickers doing as you play with them includes: Slow-mo, running, gunning, slide-kicks, roundhouse kicks, neck breaking, flying kicks, more melee attacks, kicking in doors, cover improvisation and other things (such as fighting the most awesome FPS enemy AI ever made... and, oh, Point Man did most of this shit 3 years before Mirror's Edge's "Faith" came around gaining praise for her "first person immersion" (or whatever) as she runs around sliding underneath stuff, climbing ladders and melee raping people.

Commander Shepard (Mass Effect)

-Know what? If you don't know shit about Commander Shepard, then it's time for you to go play some Mass Effect.

The Prince (Prince of Persia - 2008)

-This guy is a real man. One of few as far as video games goes, when everyone suddenly has to have some emotional/tragic side in order to appear "human" or something. The chemistry between this nameless wanderer and Elika is just fantastic. Probably the best relationship built between two characters in a game. To be honest, I had to give this game a second try before I actually even liked it. Trailer looked nice... I bought it, I hated it... booted it a few months later, loved it. +The Prince is the closest we've been to a new generation of: "Well, excuuuuuse me, Princess!"

But those are only 5 entries! Well, I couldn't really think of 10 thought through choices right away, so have half the amount of entries (but 6-7 characters) to consider!

Thanks, I loved Kyle and thought he was a pretty cool character, i liked his partner Jan Ors too. I'm hoping for him to make another appearance soon, since all he has had since 2003 was a few cameos which sucks. Dash is cool too.

I forgot about the GTA characters, I liked Clyde too, but i always thought his name was Claude, I think it was mentioned in San Andreas somewhere.
