But it is possible. I wonder what ways there are around region locking.
Yeah, I have no idea myself. You could probably crack the game and remove it, similar to how people remove DRM from MP3s and games. But I'm sure it's easier said then done, if possible at all.Last edited by WeskerIncarnate; 08-02-2009, 11:55 PM.

It's not at all difficult.
I had (my legitimately purchased copies of) Biohazard Zero and Biohazard (REmake) running on my PAL Wii long before the Western localizations were released.
Homebrew channel. Gecko OS.
Hey Presto - region free Wii gaming.
I went from having no idea to up and running in a few hours. Google knows all.

I'm currently playing the third. It goes rather slowly at times, mostly because I get lost a LOT. x_x It's quite chilling though, I really love it so far. It was a rare, expensive find but worth it.
While I haven't played the first two, I remember seeing and hearing a lot about them. Would somebody tell me...
Spoiler:
Are the twins from the second game Kei's nieces? Is that why the crimson butterfly motif is in his sections? Why does he only talk about one?

I will definitely consider that then. Region free games=good.

Alright, now I've finished Fatal Frame 3. I'm pretty sure I know what happened, but to double check...
Spoiler:
Is Kei dead? His body disappeared into ash on Rei's couch, something that happened once people went missing...So is he gone for good while Miku and Rei live?
