  • Any boss fight experiences you would like to share?

So yeah, I'm the kinda player who wants to find creative ways to finish off a boss in games, just because I simply think it looks awesome. <airhead talking>

One day, I played Kingdom Hearts II again from the beginning up till that point where you fought the Twilight Thorn. I got it's HP down to 1, but I didn't land a finishing move on it. It played that Reaction Command sequence for the final time, but after when Roxas throws that Keyblade at the boss and falls back to the ground, the boss lands on his head and is defeated, to my surprise. The head slam counted as a Finisher, while Roxas is still lying on the floor! I laughed so hard at that.

If it will make any more sense, I have it all on video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSw53drbvIA

So to reiterate the question: Do any of you recall any interesting boss fight experiences that you would like to share? (Examples: Won the boss with 1HP with no items, miraculous victory in the end, seemingly good battle turned upside down, sudden stupid death by accident, etc.)

(Yeah, its 2:30AM here, gotta get to bed. zzzz)

Omega Weapon + Squal/Irvine in their limits + Selphie w/Full Cure/The End = lol battle. I found most of the bosses in FF8 to be very easy...especially after getting a decent amount of ammo for Irvine. Not to mention some of the higher level GFs were insanely strong to the point where it practically felt cheap to use them.

Not really "bosses", but getting to S Rank in the Monster Rancher games was always pretty frustrating. Most of my monsters usually died of old age before I could get them there.

Mother Brain from the original Metroid.

I'm sorry, but that was pretty difficult at first. I kept dying and dying, and when I finally beat her, I realize I have to ESCAPE with a time limit that will blow me up if it runs out.

Yes, I'm a 14 year old old school gamer. Heh (not really. I barely qualify as that.).

Well, excuse me, tough guy, but like I said, that was the first time I played through it . I think I was like 9 or 10 and it was my first RPG I'd ever played, really. I didn't understand the Junction system or how to run around the world map leveling up like I did on my other playthroughs.

There was that time I was playing Time Crisis 2 at the arcades, and everyone was watching me beat the boss. I did it too. Enrico's not too hard once you learn his patterns
