Xbox Live Arcade / PSN games (Summer of Arcade 2010 #34)

I created this thread because I couldn't find one about released or upcoming titles...

Yesterday I knew about the upcoming ports of Doom 2 (* huge fangasm ) and Quake (3) Arena for Xbox Live arcade... I'm just sooooo insanely happy, this with the Serious Sam HD remake and the Perfect Dark port; that way I'll have most of my favorite old FPS (Doom, Wolf 3-D, Duke 3-D).

Also Shadow Complex looks interesting, it looks that has been inspired by the Metroid saga (which I love)... Damn, I'm gonna be buying a lot of prepaid cards on the months to come

I have over 50 XBLA games and probably near enough that on PSN, i have a list but i haven't updated recently.

But Trials HD and Splosion Man on XBLA have been two of the best games of the year, with Shadow Complex looking to me like THE game of the year this Wednesday. Can't fucking wait for that one.

I've yet to get "into" Splosion Man.
I bought it, but the audio side of the game is way too intense for my liking.

Still not sold on Shadow Complex being the greatest thing ever, but I'll be picking it up, looks like it'll at least provide some entertainment.


Think my XBLA game count is... at least above 60 now.
Lots of good stuff there and plenty of good stuff on the horizon too.

I only have Marvel vs. Capcom 2. I'm happy enough. Plus I can't wait for Perfect Dark to arrive. It looks like everything will be unlocked. I was quite happy when MvsC2 didn't require that. Perfect Dark will definitely benefit from an improved framerate and online play leaves me salivating. I wonder if you could add any of the colorful bots online .

Probably, Microsoft just loves getting Nintendo from behind . Look what happened with Banjo-Kazooie / Banjo - Tooie and the Stop n' Swap feature.

Perfect Dark - the closest we'll ever be to Goldeneye. I wonder if Spoiler:

Mortal Kombat 2 is a PSN game??? this plus RE: DC... Man, I gotta get a PS3.

Anyway, I guess I totally left the Wii out of this thread, actually there are some decent WiiWare titles...

So far I've tried Dr. Mario Online, Tetris Party (which is fantastic), Mega Man 9 (I got it for Wii because of the old school control feel ) and Onslaught which I think is a good effort to make a BASIC FPS on the Wii.
And also there is the Virtual Console, with a lot of N64 gems but I prefer a SNES emulator so I can play my fav games there.
