I never got into collecting retro systems, such as Atari, etc.
1/2 of the consoles I own were given to me by people that "made mistakes", "grew tired" and/or "outgrew" them. The rest I found at dirt-cheap prices over the years, at garage sells, etc. Imagine one's surprise to find an original PlayStation 1x model and an original NES+SMB3 collector's edition, both in boxes with all manuals for less than 30-40$. People around here (WVa) definitely don't know the value of what they've got...
