nes, snes, megadrive, dreamcast, game boy advance, psp, dsi, xbox, xbox 360, psx, ps3 with backwards ps2 compact and will hopefully buy a sega saturn one day.
Best console, vintage wise I would say I got most out of the Mega Drive, with games like streets of rage, sonic, golden axe but I got a nes and snes late on in the 90s but I still enjoy going back to Zelda and Street Fighter 2. Current times I enjoy the xbox 360 over other consoles.

Well, there are the Uncharted games. I hear good things about those although, I personally, am not that fond of them. Valkyria Chronicles. Excellent game and one that, when I come to power, will be a legal requirement to play. Siren is an excellent horror game you can download, although I personally prefer the older games. Heavy Rain is coming. Heavy Rain will be good. You should buy a PS3 just for Heavy Rain and never desecrate it with another disc.

You also get free online play, which is nice but not as good as Xbox live. Free BluRay player is a sweet bonus.

        Sadly no online yet

And another sadly, I just bought a Blu-ray. Dammit. but I have been hearing good things about Heavy Rain, and I liked that developers last game Indigo Prophecy (I think it's the same studio).

What about Twisted Metal? Has anything even been muttered about a new one.

Those who oppose Valkyria Chronicles will be the first against the wall, huh? That might be a good idea for the next PS3 game I get (if not UC2). Besides a couple of CoD/SOCOM loans from a friend, the only game I have is MGS4 (someone, could have been Jill's Boob, spoke about the prevalence of shooters these days...damn was he/she right). While I've seen all the cutscenes before and the game is completely spoiled (no need for my opinions on that), I can't get enough of the gameplay. I started on Big Boss Hard (probably a stupid move, I can't tell you how many continues I've went through) and I still haven't passed the FROG Advent Palace fight because I'm trying and failing to tranq all of the enemies I encounter. I love the pace of the game, despite the long as hell cutscenes.

          Anyway– Sega Genesis - Gameboy Pocket - Gameboy Advance - PS1 - PS2 - PS3 - Gamecube - Xbox - Xbox 360

It's kinda weird, as a kid my overexposure to video games "helped" my limited console collection. My best friends had all the Nintendo systems I lacked, though they were staunchly against Sega. Never played much Saturn or Dreamcast.

i find multi-platform titles to be better than exclusives. no one has to fight about this game being only on this console, while i can get this game on which ever console/ pc is pleasing.

But how exactly does one try to make one console seem appealing by listing games that're already on the other console? Oh right, they don't!

like i said, i like multi-platform games more than exclusives. what ever appeals to you differs from what appeals to me and everyone else.

Thanks for the list man, a few of those have definitely gotten my attention. Mostly Heavy rain and Ratchet and Clank.

But when/if I get a PS3, I'll be sure to at least give most of those a try.

I have a question that maybe some of you could help me with. I have the means to purchase either a new 360 or a PSP(the 3000, I don't really like the go and it's more than I want to spend). My question is if you had to make the choice which would you choose and why? Not quite sure whether this belongs here or not but it seemed more appropriate here.

Also whichever you choose what game(or add ons) would you choose to go with it?

Well I'd personally go for the 360, but thats just what I would do as I'm planning to buy another soon myself. You can't pass up on games such as; Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2 (soon), Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2, Mass Effect & ME2 (soon). But these are my personal anticipations, you could have a different opinion about these games.(?)

The PSP is good if you're out and about and hardly ever home though. Or if you're in college or work, it kills boredom.

I just found my Atari 2600, and my Atari 5200

I also found my collection of 3,000 Commodore 64 games; my dad bought these in while we were stationed in Italy back in 86.

Also, my old pinball machine from the early '80s; and also a Centipede, and Defender 2 arcade cabinet.

C64 best gaming system of all time imo nothing beats the SID.
