Srsly, it's like 132,000 cp in less than 10 minutes if you know how to do it properly.
If you have the Malboro Wand you could also try your luck killing Adamantoises/Adamantortoises by summoning/spamming death. Done properly you can get 160,000 cp in less than 10 minutes and if they drop a platinum ingot you can sell that for 150,000 gil

Fuck Spoiler:
Cid.
I am not ammused, as soon as their health hits half, they preform a HUGE combo on me, and even IN THE MIDDLE OF THE COMBO, when Vanille heals me, I still DIE FROM HIS COMBO.
Gonna go kill that doggy recolour before the boss and level up my Crystal-thing.Last edited by Gradon; 04-14-2010, 04:29 PM.

Didn't really feel like making a new topic for this...but the short gameplay video of Final Fantasy Versus XIII from TGS2010 was leaked.
Think Kingdom Hearts without Disney characters...and eye-sex graphics.
Square Enix is holding a giant Fabula Nova Crystallis conference/media blowout on January 11th to show off Versus XIII and Agito XIII. So until then...we wait. I have to say, though...I've always been more excited for Versus XIII than XIII. The little bits and pieces we've seen always looked so promising.
(Maybe a mod can change the thread title to "Final Fantasy - Fabula Nova Crystallis' or something? This topic can cover all three games)

You can kill an Adamantoise in around 3 minutes, if doing it right (Lightning, Fang, and Hope using a mix of tactics) per kill, and if you are only wanting to grind for money then you can easily reset the game in the menu and repeat without having to sacrifice much time to get the ignor drop. I should know, I bloody defeated the thing so many bloody hours...
(1 achivement left in ff13 for which I need to grind a little more. I am going to save that for a rainy day.)Last edited by Zombie Fred; 09-21-2010, 02:20 AM.

yeah but the probability of actually getting a drop really is random. some claim they've acquired 25 ingots one after another. others claimed they barely can get a few in a 12 hour period. considering that CP is so easy to obtain, since every enemy will give you it when defeated, you'd think that trying to get money would be a bigger matter than the CP itself.
one enemy really doesn't do justice for me because i get totally bored fightin' the same one over and over, especially since it can either be a real instant death (sometimes i get lucky and kill it in 6 seconds) or a painful long battle that lasts too long and waste unnecessary time. that's why i just rather go to orphan's cradle. CP is quite less, but the drops add up since you can obtain multiple items at once and they're not even that rare, than having to rely on a single rare drop that does sell alot. to me, if it wasn't for those trapz, there really wouldn't be a reason to fight Adamant monsters. people do it all the time, but i don't see how they can sit there without being bored.
