More Deception games? Fuck yes please.
    Wow, another Kagero fan!!!
You've just moved up a level in my eyes, Rosetta... that puts you at level 1 (kidding )
I'm not sure the politically correct, violence sensitive establishment, would tolerate a new Kagero. Especially one in HD. They would say it allowed sickos to live out their 'torture and dismemberment of innocents' fantasies. They were damn entertaining games though.
FYI you can download the first 2 games from the Japanese PSN store. I got the original there because it's the only one I don't own on disk.
The PS2 version (called Trapt) had better graphics than the first 3 games but I found it a bit disappointing.

They really ought to put Dino Crisis 2 on PSN. That's easily one of the best PS1 games ever.

I'm sad that Fatal Frame hasn't got more votes...

Tecmo Deception = best Deception. Kagero was good, Deception 3 was alright but a bit lackluster, Trapt was....eh...it could have been better, but I enjoyed it. Too much of a Cinderella meets Satan story for me. The first one will probably always be my favorite. Astarte and her creepy ass laugh, the chance to turn your princess bride into a monster...good times. I almost wish Tecmo would remake it and only update the graphics, maybe tweak the dialogue. The graphics though...really haven't aged well. I tried playing it several months ago and kept getting turned around because the hallways looked so...yeah. <.< Sadly though, I wouldn't see a remake or a new game contending very well in today's market.

Just googled this Deception stuff, and I'm watching some videos of the original...and I'm pretty blown away. I had no idea that first-person RPG's even existed that long ago. The graphics look a lot better than you guys made them out to be, especially for a game that came out in 1996. It looks like it controls like a bitch, though.

^ The other games control in 3rd person so control isn't too difficult. They actually control quite well, as you assign different traps to different face buttons.
They are really good fun and the gameplay is quite unique and addictive. You should check em' out.

HOLY SHIT. I just googled Deception II and I'm bugging out. I used to have this game on a demo disc! I used to play this demo ALL THE TIME when I was a kid and I could not for the life of me remember the name of the game. I seriously played this demo all the time. It was on a disc with games like Intelligent Qube or some shit like that...such an awesome disc. I used to play the Deception demo all the time, and just now realized what you guys were talking about. It was so much fun just setting traps for those big oafs to walk into.

I still didn't realize what game it was until I saw the main character in the blue dress, and then I was like OMG.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

I would most certainly not mind a PS3/360 Fatal Frame.

Bloodrayne. Those games were just a ridiculous amount of fun. I liked the second better than the first though.

The Thing, but this time make it more like the movie without scripted burst outs.

New Dino Crisis would be cool. Damn i can still remember how much i got scared when T-Rex's head came through the window in Dino Crisis 1.

Dino Crisis most definitely should get a remake and/or a reboot.

That game is one of my favorite games ever honestly. Dino Coliseum where you could actually PLAY as the dinosaurs you fought in the main game was awesome and probably my favorite unlockable mode in any game ever. Always wished they would do that with RE. Closest we got was the ability to be a zombie for a short while in outbreak, and even then, you could only be it online.

I agree, so much fear and excitement ran through my head at that very moment.

Ah, Dino Crisis. That game was so much fun that my cousin and I used to 'play-pretend' the game, using wiffle ball bats as assault rifles and imagining being chased by velociraptors and infiltrating a research facility(the park, playground, skating rink, bathrooms, jungle gym etc. behind my house) while trying to avoid a giant t-rex.

                          I'm not kidding.

Dino Crisis definitely. Superb gameplay and story. Also having dinos chase you from room to room freaked me the hell out. Wish more games used that mechanic.

Also, maybe you should include the System Shock series. Deserving games they are.

Every time I've tried playing Dino Crisis lately I get bored and turn it off. I'd rather have a proper remake of Silent Hill, a remake of Alone in the Dark (1994) and a revival of the original style Resident Evil games that is all.

Killer7. No, it wasn't an horror game per se, but still, it's the scariest game I've played in years. Everything about it is so damn unsettling, like the whole game is going to fall apart. It's just awesome.
