Alright, so I own an American PS2 for various reasons. It works fine and all...or rather, it does when it has a power lead. When I moved home one of the things to go missing was the power lead. And I'll be violently buggered if I can find anywhere that sells them in town. So! I'm sure more than one of my UK cohorts has had this issue with there own American systems and can tell me what I'm looking for so I can buy it and play Parasite Eve again.

Youll be looking for a stepdown converter box for 220v > 110v. Had one while I was in the UK. -
He's right, I have an american PS1 and PS2 myself.
I'd recommend splashing out for a decent stepdown also, bought a cheap one to begin with *small one which plugged into the UK socket and you stuck in the US 2 prong plug into that*, it kept shorting out after 20-30mins of use, ended up spending £40-50 on a pretty good one after that, doubt its of any use but heres some images of it. Bought in Dixons 7 years ago.
