Mass Effect 2 Hype

If PS3 are getting MAss Effect 2 then I want one of their games in return! maybe Killzone two, Heavy Rain or Uncharted 2!

its a shame things dont work like that though haha. Ah well I guess im glad that the developers will be able to make more money that they can then put in to the development of Mass Effect 3! when ever that comes out.....

Killzone and Uncharted are first party titles, they will never be released for non-Sony platforms because their IPs (even the developers) are owned by Sony Computer Entertainment.

Heavy Rain is a second party exclusive just like the first Mass Effect for 360, means that developers (Quantic Dreams and BioWare/EA) own the IPs but publishers (SCE and MGS) have exclusive rights to publishing that specific game for their platforms. So xbox 360 will never get HR unless Microsoft manages to negotiate with Sony, same with Microsft and EA/BioWare for the first Mass Effect.

So what's the Cerberus Network thingy all about?

Have tried so many times to get into Mass Effect but it's never happened for me. The missus goes away this week so i'm going to give it one more chance because i'm sure there's a game in there i should like. Already have Mass Effect 2 so just wondered what the Cerberus thing was all about.

The Cerberus Network was basically a news system, telling you of in-story updates to the game as additional DLC game along. You could also use it to check to see DLC you had and buy any you didn't.
