Nein. Absolutely no indication that the PS3 version will come out overseas (which, again, is kinda funny, considering the English PS3 footage that was seen in some trailers)

Rising star's been dropping hints at their twitter too, looks like an official announcement is due any day now.
STOP THE PRESSES: soon I'll be allowed to talk about what I'm not presently allowed to talk about.

Rising Star has now comfirmed for Deadly Premonition to release over here in Pal land!
Rising Star Games has stated that it will be publishing the infamous Xbox 360 game in PAL territories, currently slated for an Autumn release. Deadly Premonition launches with a suggested retail price (S.R.P.) of only £24.99, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details.
Glad to see it will be released here in September, and only 7 months after released in America. Time to 1000/1000 this (unless I am doing full completion on Reach still) when it's out. It's going to be glorious.

Official UK site is up too: Booya!
Wonder if any of the text will be updated in the UK release. The US release had horribly written English text (even the subtitles had grammar mistakes that you'd only really accept from someone who'd yet to finish primary school)

they've got an official site up but still haven't made an official announcement yes ?
eddit : twitter announcements count i guess ..
edit 2 : seems like RSG is only publishing the 360 version .. and while we're talking about hopeful additions to the game, please let there be a map checkpointing system or something now.Last edited by A-J; 08-11-2010, 05:55 PM.

I mainly just asked about censorship related changes (which there'll be none of, apparently~~), whether there'd be updates to the text (since the US release is full of weird typos and grammar mistakes), and/or extra languages (German/French, maybe?). The latter two I'm still waiting for confirmations on (along with, hopefully, a higher res version of the current placeholder cover art)Last edited by Carnivol; 08-12-2010, 11:40 AM.

Looks like Australia is getting the short end of the stick again.
Deadly Premonition too scary for Australia?
It’s been a while, but Deadly Premonition is officially the first game of 2010 to be Refused Classification in Australia. The controversial horror-adventure game has been effectively banned Down Under, thanks largely to the lack of an adult rating for video games in that country.

Heh. So the game manages to score a BBFC 15, but not an MA15+?
(It's understandable that PEGI gave it an 18+, 'cause of how PEGI works, but I have no clue how Australia rates stuff... this leaves me just as puzzled, considering what type of titles actually have managed to get an MA15+ down there.)
[edit]
There's an edit on that article and an edit on GameSpot's article too. Seems like the publiser (All Interactive Entertainment) might either be spreading hogwash or there's a communication cock up somewhere...
(Or maybe AIE is trying to drive up hype by spreading false rumors about the game being banned, to then release it?)Last edited by Carnivol; 08-13-2010, 06:04 AM.

From IGN UK and retweeted by the official RSG twitter
Four hours in and Deadly Premonition is already Matt's game of the year (Sorry, Bayonetta, it was close).
