  • Finished Episode 1, it's kind of cheating but i've made it a point to myself to do as many side quests as possible so i'm using a FAQ to do all that stuff, great to see that the dialogue changes if you've met the NPC's before the big town gathering scene.

    • Yeah. It's pretty insane how many variables there are and the unusual attention to detail there is in the game.

      • So is it any good? Saw it brand new in my local Asda for £18 and thought of buying it.

          • Man those side quests are really fleshing out the characters so well, especially all those destined to become victims soon after.

Also, Infinite Wrench is freaking AWESOME.

            • Seems like the general PAL release came out on the 8th of December.

My store just got a tiny pile of PEGI rated ones (as opposed to the BBFC ones from the UK that've been floating around for a while now)

I didn't know you were British, haha.

Also it's out? This I MUST investigate. Really want to play this game.
                See you in hell.

It's out but I think it's quite hard to track down. Took me a good couple of hours to find it in town. Game didn't stock it, a couple of independent retailers didn't have it and the only place I could find it was that Zavvi store.

And yes, Deadly Premonition is awesome. Buy it.

                  • Well I got the game new from Granger Games for £20.
Infact, I've saw it everywhere it's unreal. Granger Games, Gamestation, CeX, Asda, even HMV. All for £18-25.
I did finish the game like last week - best horror game on Xbox, it was AMAZING.
but yeah, if I litterily wanted the game (like I did) it took me 2 minutes to find once entering Granger Games.

                    • I know my local HMV has it for £25 now. Sadly can't find it elsewhere for the under £20 like the first time I saw it. May have to grab it and give it a play if its supposidly good.

                      • HMV are overpriced. Believe me I used to work there.
                        See you in hell.

                        • Depends what you buy. For some things, they're quite good, like 2 for 1 on blu rays. Other things, it's absolutely insane how expensive things are. Some box sets come to over £100 and you can find it for half the price on eBay. I think that's a reasonable price for Deadly Premonition though, I paid a similar price for it. Definitely worth the £25.

                          • Deadly Premonition is even worth £30-40 methinks!
                            However, HMV maybe overpriced, but!
They're good prices on CD's too I think,
apart from the overpriced import CD's accumulating over £16-£25 for only 10 songs...
                            But that's another subject.

                            • This is a very good game, definitely worth a buy. Even if you're not into the genre, you should at least give it a try.

                              So says Mr. Stewart.

                              • I use Zavvi a lot for my UK orders these days, and they have it in stock for £15.95 + £1 s&h.

Of course, online outlets will almost always be able to 1-up the stores when it comes to prices.
