What color is your outfit dyed? I recently discovered Wetlands Ebony (while I was getting the Ebony and Ivory trophy) and it's now my personal favorite. The black goes so well with the silver of Altair's armor. Can anyone tell me what color the cape you get after collecting all the feathers is? I've been too busy trying to get all the treasures and viewpoints, plus I keep getting distracted by another run-through of Dead Space lol.Last edited by REmaster; 12-23-2009, 09:17 PM."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

The Codex pages really delve into Altair's character and personality. If only everyone were Altair, the world would be a better place indeed.
Spoiler:
The Glyphs are also amazing in terms of story development. It connects pretty much every single piece of history to the AC mythos. The Sword wielded by Joan of Ark and King Arthur being one in the same, and a Piece of Eden itself, the Papal Staff also being a PoE etcetc. The involvement of Henry Ford, Hitler, Thomas Edison, Nikola Tesla and the other historical figures also ties it together.
The game is also fairly historically accurate, much moreso than AC1. Great story, great soundtrack, great gameplay, GotY 2009.Last edited by News Bot; 12-25-2009, 03:05 PM.PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

At last I finished it!!! It was great!!! I spend a LOT of time on it, I got EVERYTHING I could and it was worth it, now the onlly thing that remains to do is read everything I didn't read (buildings data, some peoples biography and others, there is soo many things to read).
About the ending:
Spoiler:
I thought it was... cool, really, I didn't know what I expected, but that was... something like what I was expecting, I actually thought an OVNI would come flying out from under the Vatican (it DID look like they were in an OVNI at the final "battle"). So the sun destructed life on earth once but they survived and now it will happen againe? something like 2012? I sooo want to play the third one!! I heard it will be the last one (AC3), I hope so, it would get boring after 3.
Ok, the "battle" was really lame, like the one in Gears 2, it just seems like insted of puting a video they let you play it.
Now: wher to go next? I have some ideas (spoilers concerning The Truth and the pages of... thoes pages you find):
Spoiler:
The video of the truth shows Adan and Eve running in the future, at one point you see this man/woman aparently floating, with a Eden peace in his/her hand, and there are people building things. When the two get up the building, you see she has an Eden peace but the background is the answer: it's the mountain in Japan!! meaning they are in Japan!!. And I resentlly saw a concept art from someone who was related to the series (AC) and that drawing she made whent public: it was crazzy, it showes an assassin with machine guns in a post apocalyptic place; but what was important is: he had samurai swords (two) in his back. This may not be anything, but it sure sounds interesting, not good, since I'm not keen on the idea of the third chapter being in an asian place, I want something new (I know Jerusalem is really diferent from Japan and China and such, but still). A friend told me (joking around) that it should be in Inglan the third chapter, and if you look at it... it is not that bad, perhaps around the time of Jack (the serial killer). Who knows, we'll have to wait and see, it is more likelly RE6 will be anounced before we even hear of AC3

Actually, thats Adam and Eve in the past, in the time when Those Who Came Before ruled over humanity. Adam and Eve rebelled, and are the first "assassins". Altair, Giovanni, Ezio, Desmond and Subject Sixteen are descended from them, one or both. TWCB used certain neurotransmitters in the brains of humans to allow the Pieces of Eden to control them, but Altair and Ezio cannot be controlled by them, and apparently neither can Adam and Eve. So they lack these in their brains, and it has been passed on to Altair/Ezio/Desmond. Eagle Vision is another thing passed down from Adam and Eve. Also, that mountain is Killimanjaro in Africa. Africa is the "cradle of civilisation/humanity".Last edited by News Bot; 12-30-2009, 10:56 AM.PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

Someone postulated that the third game would be set during in ancient South America, during the time of the Mayans because of the game's rather heavy implications of the whole "2012 Doomsday" deal.
Personally, I don't see it. Desmond's people came from the Middle East...I don't see how his bloodline could have ended-up in South America in that time period.

Replaying it to get the kick achievement during the flying segment. *annoying*
However I can only see the next flashback/time period taking place after 1495, it would make more sense to set it further on in the timeline then backwards, i'd figured either the French Revolution, American Civil War *god knows why but there seems to be alot of people wanting it, part of the reason I liked the AC series was for once besides present day it wasn't trying to force feed you with another american hero in an american location etc*
I would have also suggested World War 2, but since the saboteur did that setting I doubt AC3 will copy it.

The developers shot down the idea of AC3 taking place in WWII, as they want to cover historical periods which are rarely, if ever, covered in video games.
Basically, any historical events mentioned in the lore of AC1 and AC2 are basically not going to be involved. That includes the American Civil War (due to the involvement of Abraham Lincoln and his assassin). World War II and Hitler are also mentioned, with Hitler having been assassinated from above while trying to escape from his bunker.PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

I hope we get to see more on Subject 16 because I love some more Cam Clarke in the further titles. As the others have said, both two Assassin Creed games are complete accurate and how well they both tie to each other is a complete remarkable feat, considering all the information they did through out the first game with Astrago (Templars);Emails and their own motivations with the whole Eden will control they seek to cover the whole world, and how the battle has tied with since then and further on. Thanks to Subject 16 (starting with his dreaded bleed effect going into the realms that was just killing him at a rapid pace) dwelling on the truth of mankind and the whole ties with the powers in History with the many items of Eden. As far story goes for a new IP with a deep setting, this will take the cake, no doubt it's going to be this series as it continues in the years to come. I don't know where they'll go for historic events but I would imagine it would have to fit the story for Desmond and would go well with a vary of multiple locations to fit their game design philosophy. Unless they dwindle to several different time periods in one game, each having their own portion for a specific purpose, who knows. But I wouldn't be surprised if they have crossed with many scenarios with the story, even now when they already know where the next game will take place, I am sure they many things have crossed their mind.

I've started my playthrough now of ACII after watching Gareth's full playthrough of the game. I now own the Villa and have done all the Assassination missions in Florence.
I have to say, this game feels so much more... organic than the first. I like how the character is introduced to you gradually, so you get to know him before you go run round killing people. I really enjoy the diversity of the game, how you can choose to do side missions to earn some extra cash, get the Assassin seals, explore your villa, as opposed to the linear mission structure of the first game. The environments are beautiful and I love the accuracy of the game. It just feels so much better than the first. I have the first, played a little of it and never went back to it because it just bored the hell out of me, as did the environments.
