This has really sparked my interest into checking out Dino Crisis.

I remember I always had my eyes on that game back in the old days, unfortunately I never got around to actually play it.

Put simply, if you are an RE fan (which I presume you are) I think you would enjoy DC without anything to lose.

Thinking about Dino Crisis 2 makes the lack of an HD Dino Crisis hurt all the more.
Got to thank Dino Crisis 3 and the piss poor directing approach they did. Still, I'm waiting for Dino Crisis 2 hit the UN PSN store, I thought it would of been up before Christmas, and I still prey it does.

This is really making me want to play both games. ;_; Sadly my brother had them last...and claims they are still in storage. Oh well...there's always Parasite Eve.

Parasite Eve, what great memories those were. Never give hope Rosetta, you can always beat up your brother to go into the storage and pick them up for you.

I wouldnt beat up my brother...he's a hell of a lot stronger than me and has a high tolerance for pain. I'll start replaying PE tonight. Seeing as how its almost Christmas, its fitting. And oddly enough...I can't ever remember beating the second one. o.O

That's sad, man... Sad and tragic.

I'm tempted to send you $6 but seriously, unless you're living in a third world country (the fact you own a PS3 would mean you're not), I don't see how you couldn't raise $6. Go and ask your parents if there are some jobs you can do to earn this enormous sum of money.

But yeah, it's your duty as a survival horror fan to play BOTH games eventually, so it dosn't really matter which one you start with.

                Do I get a prize?
I'm 20 and have my own place. All money I have now and will have for a while is tied up to other things at the moment. Though I'll think I'll go with Dino Crisis.

Just wondering is there a release of DC1 that has analog stick support a capkore, platinum or greatest hits release maybe? supposedly there is a US greatest hits, I can't tell if the SLPM-86903 5th Anniversary Pack does or not it includes a "The Best" release.
Dino Crisis 5th Anniversary Pack for PlayStationThis is a used item. If not otherwise mentioned below, spine card is included for titles that originally came with spine cards. The bundle includes Dino Crisis, Dino Crisis 2 and a Privilege DVD which contains interview with the development staffs and all the CG movies from the two games.

the standard NTSC-J release seems to have it so why not PAL & NTSC? I have SLES-02207.

As far as I know and can remember, the game only supports Vibration Feedback and does not use the analog sticks.

However, there are of course third party controllers and various other ways of assigning the d-pad to the left analog stick.
