Which horror games do you recommend me for PS3?

Clive Barker's Jericho
Condemned 2: Bloodshot
Dead Space
Silent Hill Homecoming.
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin


I watched a few videos of them on youtube... can't really say if they are any good or not. I found Jericho really bloody and scary, i want to make a good choice, so please help me to decide. I'll get 2 of those, and if you have another title that it's not in the list, please post it.

Well, I'd only really say Dead Space of the games listed is a classic Survival Horror game.

Though, both Condemned and F.E.A.R. has their moments, should you set the mood before you start playing. Haven't really touched Homecoming, people seem rather mixed about it...


Also, I see no Siren! Which is pretty much the best of its kind on the platform! (So unless you already have that, I'd say Siren + Dead Space!)

I don't have Siren, because it's really hard to get it here... i was told that there are not too many copies around... I'll check it out anyway.

I did, on X360. What a underrated gem. It's really a great game, with nice narrative, and gory. Clive Barker FTW!

Reviews don't say the same. I've heard its controls are horrible. What can you say, honestly, as a gamer... your review it's important... ^^

I didn't find the controls terrible at all, gameplay-wise is a bit complicated at first since you handle a group of characters (I won't spoil saying how or why because it's an integral part of the story) and each one has a particular style of combat; so you can either play with a guy with a Minigun and a fire-demon on his arm, or with a Sniper with mental powers and so on...

Storywise, is Clive Barker we are talking about, (Hellraiser book & movie), so the story is quite dark and bizarre, it's all about how God screwed up with his "first born" and he banished him into a separate realm where he wants to break out to doom mankind. There are a few plot twist but really predictable, but it goes really well.

I suggest you rent it first or try the demo (I don't know if PS3 has a demo abviable, X360 does), but I really enjoyed it.

As others have said, Siren: Blood Curse is a very good PS3 exclusive horror game. Not a lot of combat involved, but it is quite scary in parts (especially parts where you're a child and can't fight Shibito, so it's essentially stealth with weird monsters looking around/running around trying to find you).

Dead Space was good.
Silent Hill Homecoming was OK.

Condemned 2 ...I didn't like it at all. I loved Condemned 1 though.

Can't really think of any other ones. Not a whole lot of survival horror this generation. Except for Deadly Premonition, which may or may not be coming to PS3. XD
