I'm playing two games at once now haha, pretty much at the same points in the game on both.
I just escaped after being arrested by the enclave, it's all getting pretty exciting.
On the second game i started i've levelled up way more than my evil character cause i've completed pretty much every task that got threw at me. Only other one left to do is taking the declaration of independance for the guy in rivet city, anyone know if thats a hard one, apparently it's location is swarming with big mutants???

I hope you saved Fawkes in your "good" game to help you get the G.E.C.K. He's the most valuable asset in all of Fallout 3. I can't tell you how many times he saved my ass against super mutants / enclave with his gattling laser.

Don't worry he appears later in the game.

Yes, he will. And he'll have a beautiful infinite laser gattling gun to help you on your trips.

Started my "Evil Female" game. Just blew up Megaton. I can't say I didn't enjoy it, I'm a sadistic bastard in gaming.

i made a female game but she was the nice one, only thing i did bad was kill the ghouls in the tunnels for tenpenny.

I never much cared for the characters you can have walk about with you, I find myself making really good character builds so the game is lacking challenge anyway, a partner helping me makes it easier.

Plus I find them annoying when they get stuck in geometry and need me keep healing them and so forth.

it's not too bad with fawkes cause he's practically invincible so he recquires no healing at all.
Only thing that annoys me with him is he interrupts the camera view causing it to jump

Just started my second runthrough, basically just did the main storyline before, and that was pre-DLC also. So yeah, really getting stuck into the game this time around.

can anyone tell me how to get to the galaxy news radio building, it's like the last place i need to get to for a quest and i just cant get there.
I keep running round hopelessly trying to get there through the metro tunnels but it just wont let me

Set it as a target/marker on your map and then just follow the arrows on your local area map while in the tunnels/metro.

I think the first metro you start at is east and across the river from the super-duper mart.

ok cheers i shall give it a whirl.
I know which metro station to start in, i just keep getting lost, i'm meant to follow the red line but it either takes me somewhere completely different or to dead ends, it's quite frustrating, i cant wait to just get it on the map for fast travel

Fallout 3 is utterly devouring my soul. I can't stop playing it.

Have completed the main storyline (well, up until before the DLC came out), a bunch of side quests here and there, and have just landed on Point Lookout before i turned the machine off. Such an incredible game, so expansive! Also playing it "properly" now too which makes me think my first playthrough was just a complete waste of time.

                              Question though...where's the dog?!

I'm always hearing people talk about their pet dog in Fallout 3, and i've not had a glimpse of it in my first playthrough, or now on my second? I do have Fawkes, who is nothing short of fucking incredible...but no dog? Can anyone explain?

But yeah, i'm totally in love with this game, just amazing to think i've only really scratched the surface with all the side quests and DLC i have yet to start! We're talking best game ever territory at the moment...though the last game i said that about was Alone In The Dark before it was released, so we'll see yet!

I liked Fallout 3 somewhat, but because of the firefight dynamics were so boring, I ended up using the VATS (or whatever the autoaim is) just to skip them. Its the flaw in RPG-FPS games, they get one thing right and just neglect the other.
