  • X10- Microsoft Expo February 11th

Holy shit, I didn't expect to see this happen this year!

So, the rumors are true. Microsoft sent out a media advisory Monday afternoon announcing X10, an expo for showing off upcoming Xbox 360 games and add-ons (that'd be Project Natal) this year.

Microsoft hasn't held the big Xbox event since X06 in 2006. X07 was canceled.

It ain't CES or PDC or MIX – X10 will run just four hours long on a Thursday afternoon, Feb. 11. It's at the Terra event center in San Francisco.

Some notable games on tap: "Alan Wake," "Crackdown 2," "Fable III," "Halo: Reach," "Splinter Cell Conviction," "Final Fantasy XIII" and more. (And I'm sure all y'all gamers know today's the day "Mass Effect 2" hits shelves.")

Microsoft hasn't done a good expo event in a while, and to see this one coming sooner is a nice welcome surprise. What does this mean? Well expect to see some new line ups coming (wouldn't surprise as Cliffy from Epic Games has been teasing on expecting to see something very soon via twitter. And Phill Spencer saying this to be the best year of 360, with big block buster games and much more surprises to come) and probably the nice addition to get more information and footage on Natal.

Expect new trailers for games such as Crack down 2, Fable 3, Alan Wake, and more to come. Thought everyone should know about this, and to see a nice start of the year to go with a bit of buzz before GDC and E3 come soon after!
