Recommend Action RPG Games

I'm playing Borderlands at the moment with a friend and am loving it!

But I need another game to play single player so what would people suggest in the Action RPG niche?

Gears of war is another one of my favorites because of the game-play but doesn't have the RPG aspect... Also just finished splinter cell and am looking forward to the next due to the strategy involved... can be frustrating sometimes though!

I used to be into fantasy type games like Diablo but haven't found any to be all that great on 360... yet...

Well, depends on what you're looking for.

For Fantasy type games, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and Fable II are relatively fun. Oblivion is a great game, and I've been told a lot of good things about Fable, I just haven't had time to play it yet.

For more modern games, Mass Effect (and the sequel) and Fallout 3 with it's DLC will give you plenty of good, occasionally unwholesome fun. Both excellent.

Fantastic games but if you're looking for Action RPG's I suggest Mass Effect. Fallout 3 has more Strategy elements than action.
