You can get all three if you start a new game then transfer them over. I just can't be bothered to do it three times, then breed them all.

IMO, The DS games in general have the best mechanics in Pokemon history, plus it brings
back together all of the generations 1-4. I have played over 350 hours.

Attacks are divided into physical and/or special and are not dependent on their types like
past games. Ex. Past games had all fire attacks being special attack...now attacks such as
"fire punch" are physical. Makes the game a lot more strategy based than before.

Also, all the new attacks like "Focus Blast" Special "Fighting" attack, I love that move.

I still have my trusty Pearl around with Pokemon from my old Ruby & Firered. I'll be
getting into Pokemon again once I get SoulSilver as I once owned the original
Silver back in the day.

I got 8 *level 100* teams of mixed generations and every legendary from every generation
(even legit Arceus which I traded with someone online that went to the Toys R US event)

So, in the UK certain Game stores are holding a special event over the next couple of weeks to get Arceus. I'm told this is a good thing. I've also been told I'm going to Birmingham next week to get one, although what my wife really wants is a Shaymin. Emma, that would be after the usual Friday of Doom, so if you wanna tag along...

I've been trying to steal Gareth's Pokemon off LeafGreen all morning, but I realised I have to get the National Dex to migrate them. He has a Venusaur (I want to breed Bulbasaurs), all three bird Pokemon, and the fossil Pokemon. Damnit.

I want Arceus and Shaymin... Here in the US GameStop gave away Jirachi. So I have a Jirachi. Cool, but... it isn't an Arceus or Shaymin.

Toys R US already gave away a Shaymin, Arceus & Darkrai already here in the US.

The Arceus is special apparently, you can do something special with it if you
transfer it to the remakes of Gold & Silver.

You can check for details on Serebii.net what these special pokemon
do when transferring them to a key game. You can also try to go into
the Wi-Fi chat there to trade with other online players if you're looking
for a specific Pokemon.

I've gotten some pretty good trades.

btw, whoever does not know there's a Nintendo Wi-Fi event going on right
now to get a special shiny Pichu so fire up platinum/pearl/diamond and get
yourself one.

Thanks for the reminder on that Pichu! Just got the gift via Wi-Fi Mystery Gift and nabbed him at the Poke Mart. Totally forgot about that until you said it.

Edit: So can this just be a general Pokemon thread, or should I make a separate one for say, HeartGold and SoulSilver?
