  • Dante's Inferno PS3 only??!?!1

    When did they decide to make it a Ps3 exclusive?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??! I remember seeing a 360 trailer a year ago!?!?!?!

    It's not because my brother has it on 360. And please...learn to use the search function. It's there for a reason. http://www.the-horror.com/forums/sho...te%27s+inferno

        Sometimes that happens. But yes...it is multiplat. You could also confirm that, if you wanted, by checking Gamestop or a similiar video game website.

            A quick look on any videogame retailer's website would've spared you such embarrassment.

              Ahahah. Sony's even doing that stuff on TV ads too?

              At the local cinema, whenever there's a multi-platform game ad before a movie starts, the formula goes like;

              #1 - Sony PlayStation 3 Splash Screen
              #2 - Game trailer (usual trailer, showing minimal amount of platform specific gameplay and ends with a game logo + list of consoles it'll be available for)
              #3 - Another Sony PlayStation 3 Splash Screen (sometimes also ending with a picture of the system next to a dummy box for the game)

              It's pretty disgusting and misleading, really. There has to be some sort of advertising law against that type of marketing, so I'm a bit amazed by the fact that they're still doing it.

                Microsoft does the same exact shit. Just saw a FFXIII commercial today with the Xbox 360 splash at the end.

                  Yeah, it happens a lot and both companies do it...

                  When RE5 was being promoted in Australia, the tv commercial was only mentioning the xbox version and at the end it said "buy your red xbox360!".

                  I don't think there's anything immoral or "disgusting" about it. If an advertisement is promoting a multiplatform game and only mentioning one version, the reason is very simple. Either Microsoft or Sony have 'chosen' to promote that game for their console. They are paying for the advertisement, so why would they mention that you can also buy the game on their competitor's console?
                  When the publisher is promoting and advertising the game, they will usually show the boxes from all the versions at the end of the commercial. "Available on PC, PS3 and xbox360... etc". Because they want the game to sell well on all of the available formats.

                  As Stu said, It dosn't take much 'research' to find out if a game you see is available on your preferred console.

                    I bet those bitter tears of rabbid fanboys would of been deliciously tasty, to store in a jar to save for a rainy day.
