  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution

The game takes place during the year 2027, 25 years before Deus Ex. Nanotechnological augmentations have yet to be developed and biomechanical augmentations are the current state of the art. The main character, Adam Jensen, is a private security officer with a company that specializes in these augmentations. He witnesses a chilling attack on his company, and "the conspiracy begins."
Article of the interview with the developer on the launch trailler of Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Deus Ex 3)

Honestly can't wait for more Deus Ex (Invisible Wars does not exist!), and with the team at Eidos Montreal working full hard with the awesome talent and resources they have for this project, the game definitely be worthy of its name. Also that Square Enix Tokyo doing the CGI cut scenes for this game will be a great addition.

    Anyone else excited?

Have to say I'm not really looking forward to this at the moment.

I played Deus Ex, and wasn't engaged at all. I'll give it another try though.

Can't get enough of the trailer.

Apparently somebody took Nolan's comment about having his crew watch Blade Runner while making Batman Begins literally.

I just watched the vids here

and. . .HOLY SHIT! This game is truly going to be awesome!

It seems like these guys really put a ton of thought into the level design. Not to mention, the mixing of first person and third person is the best I've ever seen in a game. All of it looked so intuitive, and not to forget those wicked takedowns. i mean, most games its always taking out a single guy from behind, but taking down two at once was cool enough, but Spoiler:
I'm surprised more people aren't posting in this thread. This game literally screams EPIC and Game of the Year material. . .though that remains to be seen. Seems like that CG trailer wasn't just all bark and no bite after all. . .

I don't like the takedowns, they look silly IMO (attempting to be "cinematic" for no good reason)
The rest of it seems superb!
