Because I asked Darkmoon to give me an infraction, since I think it was only fair for being rather blunt with my words.

I have to play the original again, such an espetacular game, the only problem I have with it it's the beggining in Hell's Kitchen, it's so boring.

Hell's Kitchen isn't so bad, you get to do a lot of talking and information gathering.

Yeah, I know, when I played I'd just get lost and don't know what to do. I actually uninstalled the game the first time because of it, but after a week I decided to give it a second chance and didn't regret.

I've got the first 2 on Steam, and I'm playing the first. The gameplay holds up surprisingly well. But then again so few games tried to do what this game did, I'm hoping Human Revolution delivers. So far it seems to, although I've seen some pretty iffy AI in some of the videos.

Fuck me running. This'll teach me to go and do things like spend time with my kids, and eat.

Spencer is a former moderator. He is no longer. I am a mod. I am also a big, scary, angry man with serious emotional control issues, which really doesn't say much for Dot's staff vetting process.

Any more bitching about this stuff and I just kill everyone. You lot are not allowed nice things, like free will will, any more.

As I mentioned earlier - I disagree with rehunk's thoughts strongly. Bad graphics do not make a game bad. Resident Evil 2? Awesome game. Decent story and characters, fun gameplay, graphics that are awful. Deus Ex is a better game than RE2 was, for my money, although I have my own reasons to prefer RE2. Yes, it isn't the finest looking game of all time. On the other hand, Lair looks pretty good...it's almost unplayable, but it looks nice.

I'll never understand why people can't handle less than current gen graphics. It's like people who refuse to watch the black and white classics.

I handed in my badge and gun a long time ago, Darkmoon on the other hand has all the power to do as he pleases.

                  And he will use it.

                    Hear, hear.

You can take your pretty FFXIII graphics and cram it, I'll stick with 16-bit goodness like Lufia. It's also this sad mindset that makes my beloved PC adventure games so forgotten. Oh King's Quest...<3

Now as for Deus Ex, I've often heard about this series but never got a chance to play any of them, will someone enlighten me on exactly what it is?

It's basically a FPS with RPG elements, one of the first to do so. It also has an exceptionally paranoid plot involved the Illuminati, Majestic 12 and a whole bunch of other folks taking over the world.

There is a sequel, Invisible War, but I'm told it's pretty awful. I never owned a machine that could run it. Yes, my PC is that awful.

DO WANT. XD Sounds cool. Is it old enough to need Dos Box to run it? (The first one)

It was released back in 2000, so I shouldn't think so.

We don't talk about Invisible War.

12 years? I bet some of the people on the forum weren't even born then.
