Oh they will force you to play with motion, believe me...

But seriously, it's just lack of vision / consideration. I don't think it's too hard to add an option to play a game with "standard" controllers. I love to play FPS with analog controllers, but playing games like The Conduit or CoD: Modern Warfare is such a chore with "motion" controllers.

I'll have to say that games like FIFA nailed it when it comes to controller choices since you have the option to play with your wiimote or use a gamecube / classic controller to play.

On the other side, there are titles like Rayman Raving Rabbids where the experience is not the same with traditional controls. I like to make fun of myself when trying to launch a cow with a wiimote

      Broken logic as ever.

You want the current generaton (a generation with motion controls still very much in their infancy) to end so the next can begin, when the chances are the motion tech will be far more refined and be used more than it is now?

Not to mention, whatever generation it is doesn't really matter. Whether motion tech is used in game's or not isn't down to the people making the consoles, it's a developer's decision. So back to your first point, the Wii doesn't force you to use motion controls at all, it's the developers. Not all games are ONLY playable with motion controls.

Oh, hey, personal comments. Because that always ends well.

No personal shit, minions. You know the rules. I swear by my black and corrupted heart that you have memories like the average fruit fly, though, given the number of reminders I have to give out sometimes.

I can't wait for the move. Kevin made it look cool.

I don't see why we need controllers anyway when it can be done by motion capture.
                It's not exactly new either

'cause that type of tech is still a bit wonky. Natal's still a far step from perfection and the controllers provide something that's still far from perfect too (feedback, which I may add is the biggest issue with the Wii remote design too)

"Finally" dragged in? I'd already written in the thread on the first page.

Concentrate on what's being posted, not who's posting. Try and construct a decent reply to what i actually said.
