Cing Inc. has filed for bankruptcy

Cing Inc., an independent videogame developer filed for bankruptcy this past March. The company had developed the following games, mostly for Nintendo:

* Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (2007)
* Monster Farm DS (2007)
* Monster Rancher DS (Monster Farm DS 2) (2008)
* Again (2009)
* Last Window: Mayonaka no Yakusoku (2010)

Wii

* Little King's Story (2009)
* Another Code: R – A Journey into Lost Memories (2009) [3]

PlayStation 2

* Glass Rose (Garasu no Bara) (2003)

Such a shame, I really like another code and its sequel and LOVE Hotel Dusk, I loved the simplicity of the graphics and the very cool storylines they did, it was like playing old graphic adventure games. I hope a consequence of this is not forbidding the Last Window game (the sequel to hotel dusk) from having an European release, as I'm really looking forward to it.

Well, it was coming for a while - though I'm extremely sad to hear that it did eventually come to this.

I loved Another Code, and have been meaning to pick up Hotel Dusk (actually, one of the reasons I got a DS).

Shame to see another good company go.

RIP indeed. Hotel Dusk is a great game and I can't wait for the sequel.

Yeah... hope Last Window still gets picked up for international release. It's definitively one of my most wanted at the moment.
