I've just realised something. When the PSN is back up, we're all going to be shit at this game for a fair bit. Been so long out of practice that I dread to think how I'd hold up in a online match right now.

i agree, played with my brother yesterday and we both tried to block with R2

but we both got the hang of it in a few matches.

hes a monster, makes me look like a total noob. he beat me 7-3

Doom and Dormammu both make great choices for an anchor, I think you're decent with Spencer. Keep using him, he's an awesome character.

I've had a few fights with my partner during the downtime but only a handful, I'm definitely using Spencer and Super Skrull in my main team, I'm torn between who will be my third, Chun Li, Doom and Dormammu are the main contenders for the spot.

Not so great with Spencer but I just find him fun to use.

Some of those are awful, match 44...my god. At least you got a lot better since.

You'll get no argument from me there as far as my sucking, haha. Especially against that pussyfoot Akuma spammer. Obviously my own idiocy did me in there, but, despite my utter rookie play in those, I think as these go along, you'll start noticing a rather sharp improvement. . .which, speaking on that. . .

These matches marks my first venturing out into using other characters, and away from my original 3 pre-set teams. Not to mention, this is a bit of a turning point as far as getting better at this game, but still a ways to go. Much more epicness between me and Jill's Boob to come!

Uploading over spring break didn't exactly work out, but I am making progress as far as some of you guys fights against me. Kaneco, Big Vito, and Jill4EverStars. Already have the first weekend we all played together sorted out. Just a few more videos left to go. . .

No mic, was broken a while ago and not had a reason to replace it, plus I got one of those mini PS3 keypads and trying to justify the buying of it with usage. What is Skype like, teamspeak? It do text and chat all in one (laptop has no mic either...)?

Can always use the PS3 chatroom for quick messages after/before a match. Suppose I should buy a new mic, for quoting RE when playing Raccoon City if anything.

I also have SSFIV and enjoy it if you guys wanna play that sometime, should be more entertaining for those waiting to fight since they can watch at least.

I'd say investing in a new mic is a good thing hah. But as far as Skype, yeah, Skype has both text and voice chat. I love Skype. Best messenger program ever.

I had some real shitty games too, my game was off. Seemed to improve somewhat as the night went on, especially with Iron Man. I recall a few games where he did some serious stuff but other than that I think it was a pretty tits up evening for me.

Man, was I fucking TERRIBLE tonight. I mean. . .wow, I feel pretty bad, lol. I couldn't perform a Team Aerial Combo to save my life, and I don't know, I was just plain shit tonight. Nevertheless, the matches were fun. Yeah KylieDog--you may have been happy about that comeback, but I sure wasn't! Haha. But you got a pretty good super skrull I think. I like the character myself, but have neglected him a bit as of late. I don't know if you have a mic, but if you do, you should use it. I think it ends up being more fun when you can talk and hear reactions to what's going on on screen(plus a little smack talk never hurt anyone). Me and Spencer were on Skype, which is why are mics weren't on. Anyways, I was just wondering.

I'm thinking I might just need to take a day or two off from this game to try regain whatever the hell it is that I most certainly did not have tonight. Oh well.
