Yeah. That shit was really intense when we both bought our A game. Some real dazzling close calls, right up to the last second victories and defeats.

    So much fun!

Well, just got done playing some matches with JIll4EverStars. Holy hell, were those absolutely insane, haha. And sorry about not inviting you Vito--I forgot that my notifications were turned off since I captured RE5 cutscenes off my ps3 yesterday. Just saw that when I left. Boo.

But there's going to be quite a few next times, I'm sure.

(And I so need to finally get my youtube vid collection as current as possible. On that note, hopefully I'll get to some of the matches we had last saturday uploaded by the start of next week)

EDIT* I would also like to say, I think my #1 team in this game is Wesker, Jill, and Akuma. (Jill being swappable). I seem to do my best with them, though I seem to really be getting into Magneto and Dormamnu. Both are awesome to play with.

I know, it's utterly insane. Nothing survives that as far as I can tell.

It takes some time for me to get into the groove so to speak, I usually suck pretty bad until I get my game going and manage crazy shit like this:

I am curious actually, were you at all fazed when Wesker and Morrigan got taken out? You seemed to start throwing out all the hypers with Dark Phoenix when that happened.

Yeah, I try and use Wesker and Iron Man to build up meter. That's their role, to sort of run the opponent through a gauntlet before they face Doom. He's like the final boss of my team. Regardless, they aren't completely expendable. If you take out Wesker and Iron Man but don't have a lot of health left afterwards, you will not survive Doom.

I'm not bad with Iron Man, like you said I have a reserved playstyle with him. Same with whoever I pair up with him, usually Wesker or Jill. I've lost my edge with Spencer, used to be a LOT better with him until recently.

Thing is, a lot of people overlook a few of Doom's attacks, like the Foot Dive, Hard Kick and the laser pistol, but they're actually incredibly useful. The first two of those leave you somewhat invincible during them, and the laser pistol is great because of how far it travels and it can stun your opponent long enough for you to close distance and go in for serious damage.

Mid-air laser pistol attacks was what was killing me with unending laughter...

I think it was such an impact to my psych, mostly because of the fact that you played such a passive, controlled, and collective style with the other 2 characters...once Doom was out...COMPLETE UTTER, INDESCRIBABLE & UNQUENCHABLE -MAKE NO SENSE- CHAOS!

I'm such a novice with the mechanics still that I still don't understand how to fully do advance guarding or air-combo switch breaking technique *Not actual name*

I just play alright with whatever I learn as I play.

I try to be unpredictable, while at the same time knowing how to do each special move and attack, then using them at random. The laser pistol is fantastic for people who like to jump around the place, like Arthur, it's also pretty difficult to avoid and sets them up for a serious attack.

That's what I do, I blanket the screen with projectiles and try to confuse the hell out of my opponents. When there's an opening, I'll take it. Knock them into the air and then use the Sphere Flame, at Level 3 X-Factor no-one survives that attack. It does so much damage.

Still, one match against Vito was nuts. Wesker and Iron Man get taken out effortlessly, Doom steps in, annihilates Vito's Wesker and Morrigan, causing Dark Phoenix to come in. Level 3 X-Factor Dark Phoenix against Level 3 X-Factor Doom. Swept underneath her, launched a Sphere Flame that would have definitely killed her, he at the same time used one of her hyper's to knock me back so it cancelled out the sphere flame. At this point he had three hyper bars. Used one to knock me back further which took off some health, used another to try and kill me, but I used advancing guard and survived it, so straight after that he fires ANOTHER hyper at me right after I launch a Sphere Flame which DID kill me. He was burning through those hyper bars to try and stop me. Christ, I wish someone had recorded that.

"...Things got crossed, shotguns f'ing exploded..."

that's what I was trying to remember...

I think that's how it went on in Tenacious D Pick of Destiny (movie), when
you guys started talking about lasers and fire all over the place...completely
    out of whack.

I must say, Spencer, the first time I was fighting your Doom....I just couldn't
stop laughing to the point of crying *along with the doom jokes* , there was
absolutely no pattern...too much going on.

EDIT: I just found the scene from the movie, where they are trying to create a master piece.
