Anyone who didn't think most of the 'DLC' data wasn't going to be on the disc was fooling themselves. (though the guy seems to think they are unfinished)
Why does anyone care anyway if it is on disc or not, you're either going to pay for it or you aren't. Same result either way.
Being on disc is nothing but a benefit, less HD memory space used (great for 360 arcade users) plus on PS3 you will not get an ecuse for the crap that was pulled with the 3rd set of SSFIV costumes where your opponents only see them if you buy them.
Complaining DLC so soon after release that could have been part of the game normally I'd understand complaints about, but because it is on disc or not? Silly.

I read online that a new verb hath been created in response to the immediate discovery of the effectiveness of the spamming of Sentinel's "NEUTRALIZE!" beam attack(if you play against people online, you've undoubtedly encountered this). This 'tactic' will be referred to from here on out as "butterdicking" or being "butterdicked."
Amaterasu gives me some problems, as she's low to the ground and a number of my attacks seem to go right over her head. I've yet to encounter Sentinel online, though I suspect that will soon change.
I fought two Sentinels today one was garbage but the other spammed his beam and it does a ridiculous amount of damage and unless you have a character that can teleport it's a pain to get close plus I hate the people who spam hyper combos the chip damage is too much

So I decided to pluck down $130 bucks on a Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 SA from Amazon(apparently the retail price is $160)
From what I read, it's the best stick out there besides their higher end model, and some pro fighters like the Street Fighter 4 Tournament Edition from MadCatz--but I don't trust a MadCatz manufactured product--even if the TE fightstick is supposedly good.
Quite a bit of money to sink into just trying to play MvC3, but quite frankly, memorizing the combos is the easy part compared to having to deal with the PS3's controller input issues. Not to mention my poor thumbs just can't take the abuse. Hopefully this will remedy the issue, or so I hope. In the meantime, off I go to continue practicing with Dante. He's pretty baddass in this game.
I have the MadCatz Fighting Stick TE for 360 and PS3, have to say its the best Stick i've ever used *and beats most in the London Arcades also.*
Got this game today, taken a keen liking to X-23 however pretty shocked at how awful my Spider-Man usage has become, used to be a combo master with him on MvC2.
So far using X-23 to rake up combo gauge, Ryu as a backup and Phoenix as my last character to rush with Dark Phoenix on X-Factor mode if im close to death.
Figured Spider-Man out now, not come across many Storm users online, but frankly the Online mode is pretty pants so will do without for now unless anyone here is on the PS3 version.
PS3 version is so laggy for me and others that it's not even worth playing online unless you want to shit your pants purely out of frustration. I was with you on Spider-Man, though...I've tried using him and I just can't. His moveset doesn't suit me very well.
Playing Arcade on Very Hard right now, every time I get into a win streak and a groove with one of my teams, I run into someone like Dante or Trish who proceed to mercilessly fuck my asshole with their cheesy-ass combos. And just now I got all the way up to the 5th stage only to run into a team with Phoenix who always fucking morphs into Dark Phoenix right at the end of the match when I'm about to win. Frustrating as fuck.
