PSPs and PDF's

Alright, my merry band of technomancers, I need your help again. I was under the impression that a PSP could, with a little poke-jiggery, read PDF's. So far I've tried BookR but it won't work. My main issue seems to be that I don't have firmware1.5 or some such, although only old versions mention that need.

Aid me. I have roleplay books that need reading.

what type of PSP do you have (fat or slim) and what's the current firmware on it ?

It's an older fatboy model. It has whatever the latest Sony update is.

You're going to need to put custom firmware on it in order to get apps like BookR to run first and foremost. The latest custom firmware is the Gen series. You can find all the info on how to make your PSP compatible with such firmwares here
