    First Details

According to Gamepro magazine Killzone 3..

    - Will have jetpacks, which are "surprisingly lightweight and agile... compared to the sluggish incarnations of the gadget found in other games". These double up as a weapon, with a machine gun on top that makes Helghast "explode like Roman candles". To control the jetpack, you "have to activate bursts of speed in midair, propelling yourself across further distances". The Jetpack is said to resemble something from Super Mario Bros. or Uncharted.

    - Will include arctic levels. One of which will see you "launch yourself from glacier to glacier".

    - Is playable in 3D - but users have to wear 3D glasses. The 3D effects are described by GamePro as "crazy".

    - Will show the Helghast have humanity left in them.

    - Will have the feeling that "of being in a place far away from home, outnumbered by people who want to kill you".

    - Will feature one mission where you rescue ISA Captain Narville

    - Will feature "unchanged" combat... However, hand to hand combat involves you "Unloading a string of different (and often brutal) attacks on stunned enemies."

    - Is "bigger".

    - Features a new weapon called the Wasp, which shoots a "flurry of rockets" at an enemy.

    - Will show off Helghast culture and a new language, which will be explored in the game.

    - Will have "diverse locales".

Well, the title pretty much says it all, doesn't it? Our friends in Europe ("where the history comes from") recently held an event where journalists went hands-on with Killzone 3... in 3D. SCEE's James Gallagher was there, and he's got what you want to know: details. Earlier this month I made my first trip to [...]

GameTrailers TV will have world premiere gameplay footage of the game next Friday on Spike. I wouldn't expect too much, though, with E3 right around the corner. That's where the lid will be blown off.

I wouldn't mind some more indie rock vibe.

sue me for stealing this from another thread, but if anyone wants free add-on packs for Killzone 3 instead of missing out onwhen the pre-order bonuses go by then this is what you do.

go to the website Slurpee. create 2 accounts, not one. enter any of these codes until you reach 10 points. each code will give you two. and they're reusable on different accounts. make sure its an email you can access, cause they might send them to you.

then just redeem for your reward.

Always assume that, for in the majority of cases it is true when it comes to video games.

First review for Killzone 3, and it does not look promising.

OPM UK gave it a 9/10. "But that's a high score!", I hear you say. It is, but considering that the "Official" PlayStation Magazine gave it a nine, it doesn't bode well for other reviewers who are more straight down the middle when it comes to reviews.

This is the worst attempt to negative spin a good review I have ever seen.

I'm serious, we can ill afford any mistakes in this console war. Mistakes must be covered up, exclusives must be given the highest accolades from our publication front, propaganda has to be circulated. What faith are Sony's userbase meant to have if its own official magazine has doubts too?

Lair, Haze, Genji: Days of the Blade. None of those games ever happened. Sony are in such a weak position that we cannot afford the luxuries of honest review scores, these are desperate times and they call for desperate action. Even if that includes outright lying to the public, it's something that must be done if the console is to survive.

                              Spoiler:
