  • Might as well post this here since there is no Medal of Honor thread(And I don't really care to make one), but for those interested in playing the MOH beta without pre-ordering the game. . .

Follow the steps, enter the code, download, and you should be gold for Monday, unless you have Bad Company 2, which means you can play right away.

I've played a couple of games so far. It's. . .different, though not in the way you'd think a MW2/BC2 hybrid would be. That's both good and bad. Though at the moment, the game freezes randomly(for some reason everytime I play as a terrorist), but that is supposed to be fixed soon from what I hear(the PC version has no such problems). Can't say I'm jumping up and down with excitement. . .but I think I'll give it more time. It is a beta, after all.

EDIT***Ok, I'm really starting to like this after being able to play more than 5 minutes. It's pretty satisfying to rack up a kill streak, or run up to a guy and knife'em. Though I've even gotten a mortar strike a couple a times. . .but I've also died 19 times in one game. I sorta run hot and cold, but I really enjoy the gunplay now that I've gotten better use to it. There's only two game types and one map each to play them on. You have Team Assault, which is basically team deathmatch, while the other "Combat Mission" is more or less Rush mode from Bad Company 2--though no complaints there. Needless to say, I can't wait to actually play this with a few friends, chew some bubble gum and kick some ass and all that jazz.

Although, the graphics really aren't that great, though they certainly aren't terrible either. But, it's all about the action in the end. *Sigh* Might or might not get this now. . .

    • That Frontlines offer with no extra charge is rather tempting.

      • Is this where the idea for Kirby's Epic Yarn concept or graphics came from?

        YouTube video:

Skip to 7:27. It's the Japanese TV commercial for Hoshi no Kirby. It features very similar lint/fabric/textile graphics as Epic Yarn.
