But then again, why else would MS dive into the whole motion controls thing?
Was it because they believe some CORE games play better with such controls? Or because they simply want to cash in into the whole multi-million dollar sports & fitness market? (EA made 125 million with their Sports Active franchise)

Out of the three today, I liked EA's the most. Microsoft's was a trainwreck and Ubisoft's was painful to watch(thanks a lot to McHale). I actually have some hopes for Sony's showing tomorrow, and I'm expecting more of the same motion bullcrap from Nintendo. I only hope that Sony doesn't focus more than half of their presentation on motion control gaming like Microsoft did.

I think Sony is working overtime to make sure their conference won't suck.
Sony already promoted the Move at GDC and doing that again at E3 would be overkill.
I predict that Sony will instead focus on 3D gaming during their conference. In fact, 3D gaming is going to be the hook that will make the Move a lot more interesting.
Nintendo has the new Zelda & Metroid: Other M games headlining their core game efforts. Maybe they'll confirm or deny that Retro is working on reviving the Donkey Kong franchise. There is some talk about a Star Fox game (I hope Factor 5 is behind that one).
Nintendo will also unvail their new DS portable system. The 3DS.Stuff to remember: Avoid forums if you're having a bad day.

Just within a day, despite some of the rare and awesome stuff, I'd never thought and type that the gaming industry has already failed me. Yes, there are plenty of conferences left but I'd never thought I would actually just walk away from the computer. Where generally one con become the usual joke while the rest have some individual setbacks, this year 2 and a 1/2 out of 3 have already deducted multiple IQ points from my noggin in such a unison of colossal fail. Obviously EA was the winner but that wasn't enough to remedy the utter sense of having my intelligence being insulted by both M$ and Ubi. Yes, it's still too early to tell from the next 2 days but as of now, I already feel like a victim from a carpet bombing of stupidity. -_-

I'm really looking forward to Nintendo's conference, mainly because of the 3DS. I'm very excited for that and I'm very eager for info on a new Zelda title as well. It HAS to be more interesting than Microsoft and EA.
The only interesting thing with EA's conference was Dead Space 2 footage, that Bullet whatever it was game (Epic one), and that's about it. I felt truly butthurt that they didn't even bother to show ANYTHING about Mass Effect.
