OH THAT'S F***ING BULLS**T!!! I WAS REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO GET THIS GAME!!! I REALLY F***ING HATE THE AUSTRALIAN CLASSIFICATION BOARD RIGHT NOW!!! I F***ING SWEAR THESE F***ING MEMBERS OF BOARD A NOTHING MORE THAN A BUNCH OF F***ING WEAK-STOMACHED NO-HOPERS, WHO'D EVEN FAINT AT THE SIGHT OF EVEN A F***ING TINY TRICKLE OF BLOOD!!! THEY BETTER START INTRODUCING AN R18+ RATING INTO THE VIDEO-GAMES RATINGS SYSTEM OVER HERE, OTHERWISE I'M REALLY GONNA F***ING LOSE IT!!! AND YOU KNOW WHAT'S EVEN WORSE ABOUT THOSE F***WITS RUNNING THE BOARD? ... THEY'RE USING CHILDREN AS A F***ING EXCUSE TO BAN GAMES SUCH AS THIS ONE, BECAUSE THEY SERIOUSLY F***ING BELIEVE ONLY LITTLE KIDS PLAY VIDEO-GAMES OVER HERE!!! AND EVEN IF THEY REICEIVE E-MAILS FROM STATING THAT ADULTS ALSO PLAY VIDEO-GAMES AS WELL, THEY DIMISS THEM AS F***ING SPAM!!!
THE AUSTRALIAN CLASSIFICATION BOARD CAN GO F**K THEMSELVES!!!
Okay I'm done ranting now. Just needed to get this off my chest.
If you're on Facebook there is a fan/group petition to get MK unbanned there.
I don't even live other there but I'm part of the group because I think everyone should get this game. A game is a game. Its not real life and if your kid has a problem separating fiction from reality, he needs to seek help.
Yeah this game and promotion all seems to be targeted at the US only, UK has no pre-order promos or special editions at all. I hope it bombs if they gonna be like that.

I can't wait to get the bookends so I actual have something to hold my games up instead of them being on a empty shelf. I'm still waiting on a render of the classic Mileena, and also there is supposed to be a character reveal on Tuesday. I'm really hoping its Sheeva or Kabal. But I'm leaning on the latter.

It appears that WB Australia is appealing as expected, and with a version of the game with no changes.
"After careful consideration Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment Australia have decided to appeal to the Australian Classification Review Board against the RC (Refused Classification) decision given to Mortal Kombat. After reviewing both the game play and the Board's original decision WBIE Australia believe the violence in the game is on par with numerous other titles readily available for sale in the Australian market. As such the company wants to exhaust all options to make the game available to Mortal Kombat fans in this country. An identical version of the game will be submitted for appeal."
