Hasn't it already been confirmed that 360 wouldn't be receiving an exclusive character, but "exclusive content"?

If it is anything I want I'll be cancelling my pre-order, not buying games with bits not available anymore. If it was something like Master Chief I'd understand, he belongs to MS and Kratos to Sony, but anything exclusive that does not need be and cancelled.

But Halo seems a little....out of place for MK.

I honestly don't think 360 will be getting an exclusive character, rather some kind of content like stages or game modes. With the games release being less than a month away and almost nothing revealed about the 360 exclusives, it's almost like they're trying to avoid showing us it until after launch. If anything a 360 character will probably be a DLC release.

I've cancelled my order, since Friday we've spent ~£350 on gaming. In the month before that about £110 unless I've forgot something. Got to find a 12 month XBL card too so add £30 or so.


Need to cut back, MK being moved to rental list. Probably buy late in the year for cheap.

Christ, Soul Calibur IV was one of the worst games I had ever played. Why shitty up the series with Star Wars characters? They don't even belong. Because it makes perfect sense for Darth Vader to be on 13th century Earth.

What got you interest on getting the 360? Live?

Still deciding whether if this title is worth getting because of MVC3. Is it worth investing the time to learn? I don't see two fighting games at once appealing to me.

Cousin who lives with us was given her BFs old 360 since he bought a new one, only needed buy a controller for it since he kept it as a spare/second. Not in a mega rush for a Gold account but I do like the Sky Player that is offered with Gold, to get Sky in another room Sky themselves want £10 a month and even though Sky player isn't quite as good in content as that it is the main sell for me right now though special offers on DLC add-ons and games are also a selling point. Waiting for Tomb Raider Underworld DLC to go on sale, bought a used 360 copy for £3.

Alan Wake was good.

Quite a good deal if you ask me, and the Sky Player is good on the 360 (I used it to watch Mad Dogs on Sky player recently) so you do save some money out of that. At least you now got a choice for what ports to get via multiplatform and the content Microsoft normally does on XBL (and especially XBLA) service is a lot better than PSN in my opinion. Glad to see more Alan Wake love.

If you've ever played the first three MK games, there's really nothing you have to learn. I don't really like comparing MK to SF/MvC since those are more "advanced" fighting games. MK has always been a pretty easy and fun series. To me, this looks like it's going to be the best MK ever, it's just major nostalgia from the older games.
