I hope not then we basically have MK4 again, which will lead to DA to Deception etc. and that would be sad from a developer's standpoint. I know it's a reboot but they should take this opportunity to go new directions instead constantly taking old ones and putting a new spin on it. Plus with only Sonya and Johnny Cage left, I'd say Earthrealm is royally screwed

I thought I was good with Kung Lao...

BUT OMG!!! I'm so good with Ermac...it just happened spontaneously!

I do about 35% damage combos and a 50% damage combo w/ X-Ray
and all of this happen during the first hour of playing with him, his moves
leave a lot to imagine and create deadly maneuvers.

I'll be giving Arcade ladder a go on expert with him to see how I do.

Lol, it's not like MK's storylines have ever been set in stone, more like water. Some ideas float and show up in future titles, but many angles sink to the bottom only to be brought up when so and so say's WTF? This guy's supposed to be dead, this guy transformed into a god, etc.

Since the 100% trophy is "back in time" I took it as Raiden will realize he fucked up again when Shinnok/Quan Chi start invading the realms and he'll travel back in time yet again to set things right. Who knows.

They do have all these other characters that come into play post MK3, but not all of them may end up being used or even be the same.

Its really anyones guess what they're going to do story wise after this game.

Personally I can live without them using Kobra, Hotaru, Darrius, Nitara, Jarek, and Ashrah.

Well I just got home from work boot up my PS3 to try the Expert Ladder with my
new-found best character 'Ermac'....much to my surprise I did superb for a first try.

I didn't even lose a match or round, many were close calls....and even many close
calls of me performing lots of flawless victories in quite a lot of the matches but
failed miserably right at the end of the round.

What an impeccable record I set for myself, I don't think I'll be able to top it off.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I got the Ladder Master Trophy as well. xD
