Hm well with been a Prequel Ocarina Of Time I think Ganondarf's role in this game will be small in fact this game might explain his origin on how he became a power hunger tyrant we all know.

As for the graphic im starting to think the reason Skyward Sword's graphic are a mix of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess is because as we know there ment to be a Split Time Line so in a way Skyward Sword is meant to be showing how both graphics are connected but in a way with the end of Ocarina Of Time we got a Split Time Line and so the Graphics split the Cartoon Graphics are followed over to the Wind Waker side and the more Real Realistic side to the Graphics go over to the Twilight Princess.

I doint know it's just thought I came up with since this game is set before Ocarina Of Time and so there is no time split yet so in away you could say the graphics are one but with the end of Ocarina Of Time they split It's just a theory anyway it might not be the case.

From what I played the game seems to be running with a motion+ gimmick theme, problem is they use motion+ for things that do not need it and it detracts from the gameplay, I don't need wave my arm overhead to throw a bomb or swing low to roll it, pointer controls are better for aiming than the crappy bow method Wii Sports Resort used and 1:1 sword controls are pretty pointless when the standard 8 way swings the regular wiimote can do fine is all that is ever used at best, and I will presume best since the promotion guy talking in my ear while playing couldn't stop telling me how 'revolutionary' it was.

There is no challenge either and I'm tired of Zelda games aimed at kids level of skills, Nintendo need rediscover the difficulty select option.

In terms of difficulty Zelda has been pretty much the same since day one. Especially with the bosses.

A few years back I remember that in some Zelda forums we used to talk about how in Zelda games the hard part was getting to the bosses not actually defeating the bosses themselves. This has remained true for the most part.

Anywhoo, with modern games the lack of a challenge seems to be something I find in a lot of games, even in the ones rated 'M'. In fact, I've played some Spongebob games with my niece that are harder to beat than most FPS games.

Well it seems this thread has not been updated since the last E3 event... so lets sum up what happened at TGS 2011 shall we?...

                            (From Ninty's Twitter account):
                            1. Miyamoto announced a second play-through and Boss challenge mode for Skyward Sword!
                            2. Mr. Miyamoto says Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword could have 50-100 hours of gameplay, one of Nintendo's largest projects EVER!

And this awesome Skyward Sword video (albeit way too pixelated cuz it was streamed - looks better in motion) shows why so many cannot wait to play this game:

And now for something more recent (fresh news from to-day!):

Lucky German Zelda fans will be able to play Skyward Sword demo before the official release

Zelda Europe, a German Zelda fansite, has 25 copies of a demo version of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for giveaway as part of a contest that is running now, open to residents of Germany only.

Entrants need to draw their favourite game moment from any Zelda game either on paper or digitally and send it to the contest e-mail address.

The closing date for entries is October 10, one month before the European release on November 18.
