This definitely needed bringing back up didn't it?

Suppose i can keep things on track by saying PSN Plus is now available with the latest firmware upgrade.

Fuck me thrice, my kids are less childish than this bullshit...and the oldest is five!

Allow me to make this an instruction. You two will reply to each other only when it has something to do with the topic. You will not make snide personal remarks at each other, nor will you post for the sake of winding each other up. You two wanna yell at each other, then do it via e-mail or IM or something. I do not want to see any of this kiddy bullshit again, on any part of the forum. I will give anyone who disobeys this ten permanent infraction points, and keep on giving them until you listen or get banned. Your choice.

I don't know, this playstation plus sounds like you're getting a lot for your money. It really depends I guess on how much they charge for it.

I don't, only because it would I think it would cause a huge level of backlash if Sony did after 5 years. It doesn't rule out however the high chance of it happening whenever it is Sony releases a new console in the future though if it's cheaper cost wise and enviably more profitable in the end though.

It's really not all that so far. It costs £12 for 90 days or £40 for the year and you get Wipeout and a few Mini games. It may be better further down the line when they release more things for it but at the moment its nothing special.

£12 for 90 days and it's not all that "so far"?

How much is Wipeout HD? About £10? The minis, about £3 for the pair? Destruction Derby about £4? So, £17 in the first month, and there'd still be two more months to come out of that initial £12. It's a bargain.

You could always think outside the box and read the thread for the prices?

How does this membership deal work though?

Do you only get the benefits (while active) of the months you enter as an active member, or do you retroactively get the benefits from months you necessarily weren't a + member? Do you have to download stuff during their months to "get them" or is it enough that you were a member when the offer was there?

Maybe the answer's out there somewhere, but I don't like skimming for the fine prints on stuff that doesn't really apply to me

Yeah I guess if you dont have Wipeout and the other games. I thought there would be a little bit more though. Like when they said you would get money off other items in the Ps store. Turns out though its only several items you can get money off. All Im saying is if you havent purchased it yet I would wait a little longer untill there is more items free with it. It kind of slim pickings at the moment. The only thing I was interested in was Wipeout and if you say that costs £10 then I over paid for it because the membership was £12.

For someone who never buys anything on PSN it may be of some value.

Myself for instance though almost everything they offer for the first two months including the free copy of LBP is worthless to me as I already own a large amount of it.

I'd be paying for auto-patching really and not much else. Yeah, I think I make the huge effort to let it just patch when I start a game.
