The reason I mentioned about that is because, from the official website, Lords of Shadow take place in the 11th century. It would imply that while the gameplay be the indication of being "reborn", the plot would act as a prequel to everything we've come to known, rather it is related to the previous series or not.

Kinda liked the old placeholder better, but this one still oooozes of classic Castlevania.
Good thing I have a nice printer
By the way, random note; apparently the 360 version will be 2 discs, but disc 1 will contain a specific Install feature that lets you play the entire game from disc 2 (Forza did a similar thing, and Square-Enix/Tri-Ace should be ashamed of themselves for not doing it with Star Ocean 4)

It now has a LE: http://www.gamerzines.com/ps3/news/l...ectors-ed.html
*at EB's site* Jesus, that new 360 bar is really fugly. Might get the PS3 version just for better box aesthetics.

Honestly, I cannot wait for a PS3 version of Castlevania. This will be the first one that I've played that will be in a 3D world. I'm so used to them all being flat screened, jump around and kill things type of games.
I always thought Metroid made the transition into the 3D world fairly well, so I'm hoping this will pretty much do the same.
I was actually playing the Dawn of Sorrow one for the DS just a few minutes ago. I really do love the ones for the DS and PSP. Excellent travel games or ways to pass the time when you're trapped in the break room with boring coworkers.

*EDIT*
Here's a nice interview with producer David Cox I read a few months back. I was worried at first about the music of this CV game, until I heard it that is. That spanish composer rocks, I can't wait to hear a track like Vampire Killer(Apparently the producer tweeted recently that many of the old favorite songs will be included in CV:LOS).

Rise dark lord....
Once again, it's time for your Castlevania news of the month. First off, here's what you get with the limited edition in case you missed it.
That includes the game (obviously), a cool case, artbook and soundtrack.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! If you pre-order CV from gamestop (any version) you get this sweet combat cross t-shirt, which is just icing on the cake especially if you're getting the limited edition which has it's wealth of goodies.
Also, there's been a slight change in the LE cover. This is the final version.
They just used the regular cover's background.
Also David Cox has hinted at one last trailer being released within the next two weeks, as well as a demo coming out five days before the game's release (Which happens to be my birthday :p).Last edited by REmaster; 09-14-2010, 04:29 AM."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."
