Apparently someone from Spicy Horse was at a local Gamestop pre-ordering 3 versions of the game...and the register said I was right next to him...a chance to talk to an actual game developer...
You wouldn't happen to the be in the LA area would you? You just reminded me of another piece of news, there's going to be an art exhibition for the game.
Also a new trailer was released today showing some of the mini-games
And another new trailer, the launch trailer! Not long to wait now

Also if you want to play that Storybook App i mentioned but don't have a piece of iCrap to play it on then you can play it HERE in a good old fashioned Flash file!
Games been released now, i've got it, finished it, and i loved it. It has a few niggly problems sure (texture pop in for example) but nothing major, it's still really fun to play through, has a great story and is beautiful to look at. You don't need to have played the first one to follow the story, but if you want to all new consoles copies come with a code to download the first game for whatever console you've got the game on (and if you buy it used without the code you can still buy the first game for 800MS, not sure about PSN cost though). The first game looks good in HD and still holds up really well.
I recommend you all go buy it, you're getting 2 great games for the price of one
Haven't got this yet but almost bought the first game until I realised it needs Madness Returns to work . . . I mean what's up with that so if you buy it but you trade it in you also can't play the first game! That especially sucks if you paid for the dlc no?
Yeah but that's how EA works with these things, it was the same with Dead Space Extraction, you needed the Dead Space 2 disc to play it. If you're planning to get it new for consoles don't buy the first game, you get a code with the game for a free download of it.
I thought it was reeeeally repeatitive, but I adored the style. I don't think I'd play it again, but it was actually quite nice playing something so different from Fallout and Assassin's Creed which had been keeping me busy beforehand.

You know, I think this is why it is taking me so long to get through this game: I'm finding it really repetitive too, but love the atmosphere and storyline. I just get a bit bored with the stuff in between like finding the pig snouts and the memories. Everything is generally the same for each chapter: Use shrink sense to find some random stuff, kill a few doll baby things, progress and get parts of the story.
Don't get me wrong, I still very much love the game...But I just feel like I am doing the same things over and over again and that it is pretty much just a change in scenery. One thing I don't like about the game is there are really no boss fights...They are pretty much non-existant. Even in the Hatter World you really had not much of anything to do with the March Hare and Doormouse.
I will admit that they do a good job of shaking things up a bit from the repetition with different styles of gameplay like in the Caterpillar/Asian world, you are constantly going into the scroll to get bits of the story. I did think that was a nice touch.
I'll give my full verdict though when I actually finish the game. At the moment, I'm in the Card/Queen of Hearts world.
