I just beat the story mode yesterday. Incredible game. Definitely the best superhero game I've ever played. I'm still only 54% done with the game, with a few side missions left to tie up and a shit-ton of Riddler secrets left to find. I'm definitely gonna have to consider the DLC for this one.

Took a while to even setup (4 DLC skins to grab, Catwoman content, extra challenge mode), plus patch and install.... 25 mins of effort just to get the game going. But it was worth it. I've only done 7% of the story, 2% of the overall game. I can see I'll be coming back and forth to this over the coming months around other titles.

Okay so far I've only got three skins.

Beyond from the NOS promotion

I believe the codes only work for the US though. If I pick up anymore energy drinks down the road I'll be sure to share codes. You have to set up your own account on their site and input it in. It's only one point so one can of NOS is enough to get the skin.

Also The news that Batman: Year One comes with a Year One skin is false. I'll still see the movie down the road, but as of now it seems like it's a preorder bonus until the skin pack comes out.

I'm assuming the promotion too, but it's happened before in the comics. If you didn't know; it's from a on-off direct alternate universe cross-over in the 90's. Back after when they killed Batman with Bane (then brought him back) and the main comics struggled to find new reasons to reinvent him for a couple of years after... :p

I didn't know, but that's pretty neat.

I know GL has been a mixed bag for some, but I had fun with it. I think kids will enjoy it more than adults either way. The extended cut included some pretty big scenes I feel. One such was a little back story between Hal, Hector and Carol when they were kids which was rushed as a flashback in the theatrical cut.

It was the "other tentpole comic book movie" this year I was the least interested in. The over the top amount of CG really put me off, and it just looked kinda cheesy.

To top it off, I dunno why but I never got into the Green Lantern when I was a kid, and to be fair I'm also kinda sick on actor double up for superhero films too. I just remembered that one off crossover thing because a friend of mine was deep into his Batman comics during the whole 90's.

I think I'll pick this up on Steam sometime in the near future. Just bought an HD PVR video capture/stream device, and I gotta pick up Uncharted 3, but after that I'll be saving my pennies for it. I want it baaaaad.
