I'd finished around 42% of the main game content over the weekend, no issues. When I booted up the game today to play some more, as it scanned for the DLC content, it told me the data was corrupt and needed to be reinstalled. This is obviously not the save file info but the game install + DLC content. I just exited back out to the XMB, reloaded, and when it got to the DLC scan it worked fine and no error popped up. So something is obviously amiss with how it reads the DLC details, but it doesn't seem consistant in my case anyway. If it changes I'll let you know. Other than that I've had no freeze/crashing at this stage, knock on wood.Last edited by Rombie; 10-25-2011, 03:22 AM.

I bought this the day before yesterday, and just starting playing it last night. I never played the first one...I'm just not really a big Batman person, but the villians are a different story. Once I saw the Mr. Freeze trailer ("Have you ever seen a flower die?"), I was sold. Mr. Freeze is one of those villians whose motivation isn't just to take over the world/city; he's actually trying to get something accomplished and mainly just wants to save Nora. Though if you think about it, should he ever get Nora cured, it isn't like they would have a lasting relationship of any kind.
As for the issues, I actually experienced one briefly last night. I saved my game, and then installed the Catwoman DLC. As the game restarted, it told me my data was corrupted, and then the whole system restarted. When I went back in the second time, it worked just fine. I am hoping this was just a minor glitch and that I won't actually lose my saved game. I'm thinking they need to make a patch for these DLC problems pronto. If I lose my game, I will be pissed. *vampiric hiss*sigpic

Just found a disturbing Easter egg in the game!
Spoiler:
If you return to the steel mill a second time, go to the manager's office. Next to Harley's uniform is a pregnancy test with a positive result! Apparently if you find this before beating the game, Harley will sing Mockingbird with her own lyrics after the credits!
Creepy shit! Is this confirmation of a sequel? Perhaps a Batman Beyond sequel? *Foams at the thought of a Rocksteady Batman Beyond game*.. ( O AO)..Last edited by PracticalAl; 10-26-2011, 04:09 PM.

I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life. Yeah, this game is totally the best game of all time and totally better than a game that heavily influenced two different genres to the point that you can't play Uncharted or Gears of War or Mass Effect or even Batman without drawing comparisons to it.
Arkham City, while nowhere near a bad or even mediocre game (it's quite good, in fact) didn't even come close to living up to its hype. It's about as good as Arkham Asylum, which was already a great game so that's not saying much. It was too big, too repetitive, and the story wasn't all that interesting, even for Batman.
I'm not saying it was a terrible game, obviously, it's just not one of the best games of all time. Maybe an 8.5 or a 9, but not a 10 like they've said.A man chooses...a slave obeys.
