Brilliant game, really hope they're going to continue supporting the game with more levels in the future!
Is it though? What about if they'd only let you use one stick? Or if the zombies sang nursery rhymes? Or if your character was in fact an octopus?Originally posted by KylieDog View PostNo voice chat is about as retarded decision as can get.
Can think of many more retarded decisions than simply no voice chat.

Yea I was taken a bit by suprise with the Platinum, the intro and graphics. They really went all out on this game.Originally posted by AltaïrTheEagle View PostI think the game is great mindless fun no voice chat is a bummer but as long as it comes its ok btw I'm hype that this game has a platinum trophyLast edited by REmaster; 12-02-2010, 04:59 PM."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

Housemarque is very apologetic in that blog post. It's tough to understand how something like voice chat in a co-op game would be overlooked, but remember that originally this game didn't have online co-op at all. It was only confirmed about a month or two ago. Having said that, their last game was Super Stardust HD in 2007, over 3 years ago. The game seems polished enough for a 3 year cycle, even though I have horrendous lag when I play online(but that's because of my shitty connection here at school). Housemarque is a great developer and I have faith that they'll rectify this situation.

Those...actually sound amusing. Retarded, possibly yes, but amusing. Creepy nursery rhymes and the ablitiy to shoot ink at zombies? Sure thing.Originally posted by Stu View PostOr if the zombies sang nursery rhymes? Or if your character was in fact an octopus?
It wasn't just you. I had connection issues with several different people, and after messaging a few others that have it, seems they did as well. But yes...the game is polished and enterataining.Originally posted by ChrisRedfield29 View PostHousemarque is very apologetic in that blog post. Done. (I haven't actually added you yet, just sayin)Originally posted by Mr. Spencer View PostI have Dead Nation, so if anyone fancies a co-op game then feel free to add me on PSN - ADPolicenaut.
I've been trying to find someone to co-op with since it came out."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

I have to say that so far I am impressed with Dead Nation, even though I can see it getting repetitive at some point. It's pretty much how Left 4 Dead would be if it was a top down shooter, which is definitely a good thing. Much better than previous zombie offering on the PlayStation Store, e.g. Zombie Apocalypse, Burn Zombie Burn, etc.
It's also nice to see Housemarque having an interest in what people want and responding to criticisms, as opposed to ignoring them. Always good to support the smaller developers.See you in hell.
