I will be getting the 360 version in a couple of hours (tempted in double dipping with PC so me and my friend can have a blast together) and soon post impressions later. Blue Castle has also seemed to delivered on doing a good job on Dead Rising with the reviews so far. A damn fine job if I'd say so considering.

Gave this a few hours yesterday and will be playing it again today so far it has being fixed a lot especially the survivors AI now I don't have to worry about them much...
Stuff that has interested me so far:
Spoiler:
The guy that Chuck sees at the beginning claiming that his family were killed in the willamette incident perhaps he maybe related to some of the original survivors?
The psychopaths are pissing me off so much in a good way:
Spoiler:
Especially the Chef, I mean how can a chef with a frying pan deflect bullets? O.O
And some of the survivors are interesting:
Spoiler:
The band on stage for one especially their finishing move, now if only Frank had that kind of power =P
Haven't got that far into it but i'm enjoying it so far.
And also don't know if most people know about this but:

I must have soaked around 17-20 hours into this game already. I have finished the campaign with a perfect S ranking (saved over 50 survivors but will do another run to rescue the remaining ones, and the secret pysychos to finish the notebook) and damn I was impressed. Blue Castle really nailed the spirit of the first game, and then added more to the formula. Also TIR (Terror is reality) is great stuff for the humour factor, and to get some nice money to put in the main game.
I've even barely touched the surface with how much content is packed into this game. Buy it people!

Any tips on finding/remembering hidden anything? Can I mess around if I've completed all other secondary objectives and just wait until the deadline closes in for the next primary objective without worrying about missing stuff after I complete said mission?Last edited by BBboy20; 09-26-2010, 12:46 PM.

Well if you plan to do all survivors/notebook then you're not going to have much time to really look around. The best thing to do is do the former and on a second run (replay value is high for this game) and take your time more with the world. Best thing to do if you want to do it that route.

It is 72k kills in one run, they reset with each restart, according to the interwebs anyway.
What I am wondering is when you restart to hidden shortcuts you discover from rescuing survivors remain accessable from the start?Beanovsky Durst - "They are not pervs. They are japanese."

As for the hidden shortcuts, they wont remain accessable from the start due to the time scenario. You need to rescue a specefic survivor (the burnt tanned women rescue) to be able to warp between one side of the city to the other, and also need to get to after the "bank run" case to quickly shortcut between Fortune Park and one of the casinos to save time. There's also the Underground you can use during the course of the case files if you wish to go through that route in all of Fortune City. There are several options opened up for you.Last edited by Zombie Fred; 09-27-2010, 07:30 AM.

I mean yeah the zombies on screen were a LOT, but DR 1 had ridiculously well detailed character models, where as Chuck and his daughter look very .. last gen ? compared to that.
