  • Shadow is...REALITY( read the preface)

Just a heads up, if you don't already know, but my dream is to become not just a video game designer but to be at the top with my business. I plan to make a console that will revolutionize gaming and represent evolution with lots of "hasn't been done before" features and features that have become a necessity but will evolve. It'll charge a one time only fee for membership(DO NOT ASK THE PRICE YET AS I HAVE NO IDEA) which gives you access to members only features. On to my main point.

The first game I'd want to make would be called Shadow. Throw out anything thoughts you have about the title and whatever because you will find the title is quite fitting. This game would be a blend of a few genres...such as RPG, horror action survival( a genre that I could make happen if it hasn't by the time I am ready to roll) Physiological Horror, adventure
, strategy, and first person shooting.

This will be a brand spanking new IP based on nothing but fresh new ideas. It if you didn't figure it out would be played in first person view so you can see and understand everything better. It takes place in a world of nothing but nothing as what it looks like from outside. Inside now is a world where reality is a fantasy as this place is constantly changing and utterly fucking everything up, one minute you're living in your house and poof you and the house are gone. Basically what that means is you and the house "never really existed'. You play as a man who is able to take control of elements. More will come as i am busy as of now.

Please, don't take this in a bad way, but you should consider FIRST to get yourself into the industry: get the proper knowledge in whatever area you want to develop (graphics, audio, storywriting, modeling, level design, etc), get LOTS of experience by working inside a small studio and then a big developer, or trying the indie route, which still takes a lot of effort (and money). Then you can think about doing a game... A console? That's way too big.

It's good to have aspirations, but you have to make your goals achievable, one step at the time. Put your heart & mind on it and it might happen. But it's gonna be one hell of a ride if you ask me.
