    Anyone interested in this game?
I watched the trailers recently and I'm quite interested. It's one of many games I'll be considering over the next few months.

Created by Ninja Theory, the makers of Heavenly Sword (which I loved), it has a similar artistic style to it. Although it dosn't appear to have the same quality of stunning photo realistic graphics, it does look very nice and appears to be a very different sort of game.

On a side note, I remember reading that Ninja Theory were working on a sequel to Heavenly Sword, set thousands of years in the future, with a male lead character... I wonder, has that game become this game?
The chick in the game looks like she could easily be of the same bloodline as Nariko from HS.

The rumors about what Ninja Theory are doing are many.

Anyway, didn't really like Heavenly Sword, but found it hilarious how many languages Sony for some reason decided to enforce their dubbing routines on (to the point where they can't possibly have had any profit on the actual sales for the game).

Not had much interest in Enslaved, but after watching some gameplay footage recently and a little collage of scenery, I must say I might actually grab it to give it a spin.

I'm going to pick it up due to being based on the Monkey Magic TV series. It's not top of my most wanted list but looks kind of like a Tomb Raider, more action style kind of game.

I'm not really sure to be honest. I was expecting an adventure game akin to the Tomb Raider titles, but now I hear it's one big escort mission? I'm just not sure. The game's artistic design and some of the locales look amazing though.

Just downloaded and played the demo on PS3.

It's fun and spectacular. The game play is a similar style to Heavenly Sword and DMC. It feels quite slick. The 2 lead characters are pretty cool. They had me laughing out loud. Definitely worth checking it out!

I had no idea about this... I love Monkey the TV series and own the collection on dvd. But the game and TV show don't have a whole lot in common (besides a few small references).

I thought the same thing when I saw the trailer and the chick says, "if I die, you die"... Like we didn't get enough of that with RE4 & RE5?!
There's no escorting in the demo but we'll have to wait for some reviews of the full game to see how it is.

They're a demo for it now? Gotta check it out.

Funny that I'm excited for Enslaved but not DmC.

Reviews have been mostly positive. Averaging about 8/10 from what I've seen.

It sounds like something I might enjoy. 2 or 3 days of fun, at least.

But there's so many other games out and coming soon. I think I'll wait for a substantial price drop before I consider it.

Well, apparently the game's only sold 80k in three weeks. . . .hahaha

                  God I love Karma.

Yeah, selling a million copies of Heavenly Sword on the PS3 was REAL BAD. . .

Capcom, looks like you've made a terrible mistake with giving them DmC

^ Sales have a lot more to do with marketing no ?

I doubt Capcom would let a franchise like DmC get a new game without any decent marketing, Namco on the other hand just shoved Enslaved out the door.. the only buzz Enslaved has gotten is via word of mouth about how good the game actually is..

Enslaved to me is a fun game. End of. It's a very linear game but I don't think it would have worked if they'd done it any other way. The gameplay is simple but fun, easy to pick up, and the game is fast-paced and really enjoyable. The facial expressions on the characters are brilliant as well. It's worth picking up I'd say, but it's definitely not the sort of game that's going to keep you hooked for months on end (the only replay value is to max out all your skills and achievements).

The game has been compared with Uncharted and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The demo I played revealed similarities, and the game was pretty fun, but in both terms of game-play, voice acting, and cinematic feel, how do these stack up?

It's not like Uncharted. The only similarity is with the platforming. The combat is completely different and so is the atmosphere. Enslaved is set in a post-apocalyptic world and it's an escort mission, not looking for treasure and the game feels completely different - just when Monkey jumps around sometimes it can feel reminiscent of Drake.

I've had this on rental, beat it.

It is a fun game but I don't think it is worth buying right now, the gameplay holds out from start to finish but the story and scenary fall apart about midway through.

You start off in a ruined city with vegetation covering it, really nice to look at, the story is quite mysterious too leaving you in wonder and waned to know more.

Then a few chapters later you leave the city for ugly swamps and many enclosed ugly metallic structures and areas and the story just becomes boring, don't get me started on the ending. I guess the interaction between Trip and Monkey holds until the end, the overall plot doesn't though.

Worth renting/playing, buy it when it hits £10 or rent it. Oh it is very easy too, even on harder difficulties.
